12 Food Fraud

16 Wisdom has built her house; she has hewn out its seven pillars. She has prepared her meat and mixed her wine; she has also set her table. She has sent out her maids, and she calls from the highest point of the city. Let all who are simple come in here! she says to those who lack judgment. Come, eat my food and drink the wine I have mixed. Leave your simple ways and you will live; walk in the way of understanding. (Proverbs 9:1-6)

17 The woman Folly is loud; she is undisciplined and without knowledge. She sits at the door of her house, on a seat at the highest point of the city, calling out to those who pass by, who go straight on their way. Let all who are simple come in here! she says to those who lack judgment. Stolen water is sweet; food eaten in secret is delicious! But little do they know that the dead are there, that her guests are in the depths of the grave. (Proverbs 9:13-18)

18 Better a little with the fear of the Lord than great wealth with turmoil. Better a meal of vegetables where there is love than a fattened calf with hatred. (Proverbs 15:16-17)

28 Do not lust in your heart after her beauty or let her captivate you with her eyes. (Proverbs 6:25)

29 Then out came a woman to meet him, dressed like a prostitute and with crafty intent. (Proverbs 7:10)

30 My son, give me your heart and let your eyes keep to my ways, for a prostitute is a deep pit and a wayward wife is a narrow well. (Proverbs 23:26-27)

31 Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all. Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. (Proverbs 31:29-30; ESV)

37 It Sparkles and Stings!

38 Wine is a mocker, strong drink a brawler, and whoever is led astray by it is not wise. (Proverbs 20:1; ESV)

39 Who has woe? Who has sorrow? Who has strife? Who has complaining? Who has wounds without cause? Who has redness of eyes? (Proverbs 23:29; ESV)

40 Those who tarry long over wine; those who go to try mixed wine. (Proverbs 23:30; ESV)
