1 Re eh see" Page Av 28 sunset 8/11-7:36, 8/17-7:29 Re eh Deuteronomy 11:26-16:17, Isaiah 54:11-55:5, 1John 4:1-6 Next week: Shoftim Deuteronomy 16:18-21:9, Isaiah 51:12-52:12, John 1:19-27, 1Cor5:9-13 Torah Deuteronomy 11:26-28 Yahweh sets before you today the blessing-obey Torah and the curse-disobey Torah. Both are still active today as the only scripture that says the curse is done away is in Revelation 22:3 and that is future. What if one says I worship God but I don t have to obey the 10 Commandments? If you say this YOU ARE WORSHIPPING ANOTHER GOD and you are not worshipping Yahweh!!! Read verse 28 again: you are cursed if you do not obey Torah for if you turn aside from My Commands, you go after another god. You do not worship Me for you have created your own god. Call him God, Yehovah, Jesus or whatever. It does not compute. vs 31 You are crossing the Jordan to take possession of the Promised Land and (you will witness supernatural miracles today). vs 32 You shall obey all the commandments (Torah). Deuteronomy 12:1-3 There shall not be any worship of any idols in the Promised Land. Yahweh hates mixture of what we say is of a divine nature. Are we to participate in Easter or Christmas when they are not God-ordained functions in the church? Ask God what each event makes you think about. Do you like Easter, a basket of Easter eggs, a chocolate bunny & a sunrise ceremony or Passover and the 1st Fruits WaveOffering? Could Yahweh see this as a mixture? Easter vs Passover-this is a mixture of saying Easter is holy. Many times Easter does not fall on the proper day each year for it to be a 1st Fruits offering. Do you like Christmas or Fall Feasts as birthday of Yeshua? Again adding to Torah vs 4-7 You shall worship where Yah places His Name: A PLACE THAT TEACHES TORAH and bring the 1st Fruits of your income as in the tithe, offerings, donations. Does Yahweh show up at other places of worship where Yahweh s name is not being correctly taught. Does Yahweh show up with signs & wonders? read Deut 13:1-6 Is Yahweh testing the hearts of people who call on His name?

2 Re eh see" Page Av 28 Deuteronomy 11:10 Do the commandments and these things that I say and you will have rest from your enemies and dwell securely in the promised land. Did this happen? No, because they did not obey all that Yahweh told them. The parallel for the 2nd Exodus is that we will have rest from our enemies during the 1000 year age because sin is locked up and we obey all the Torah. vs 15 When Moses says clean and unclean food that can be eaten, he is not speaking about unclean animals, etc.. Unclean animals are not called food. So this verse is speaking about clean food that has acquired a blemish and the blemish makes the clean food unclean. This verse does not speak against the dietary laws. vs 17 Do not eat the tithe within your cities. This is talking about the 1st Tithe of 10%. It goes to the sanctuary or place where you learn Torah. vs 18 You shall eat before Yahweh, your family, and where you learn Torah. This is talking about the 2nd Tithe of 10%. You are to use this 2nd tithe during the High Holy Days and spend it on yourself and others so that all can have a good festive time before the Lord where you learn Torah. Deuteronomy 12:23 Do not eat the blood. This verse is taking about properly slaughtering the animal so that the blood is drained from the animal. Called kosher slaughter. This verse also says we are not to eat a live animal because the blood contains the soul of the animal. vs Yahweh will drive out all the idol worshippers from the land. Do not learn their idolatrous ways like sacrificing men, women, sons, and daughters as a form of worship of pagan idols. Today, we live amongst many people who do not worship Yahweh properly. We are not to do like they do. If the politician advocates laws for abortion, we should not vote for a person that supports abortion or is pro-choice. If people want to be deviant from the morals of the bible and call it their right, we are not to support their rights when we vote. We should live in peace and tolerate it, but we should not approve or support it. The only rights that man has are God-given rights specified in our bibles. If the people around you eat anything they want, they are idol worshippers because they are saying that what they eat as food is OK to eat, but Yahweh says eating specific animals is an abomination. Yahweh says that those creatures are not fit to eat as food. Bottom line: One cause of sickness in our bodies may be due to the unclean foods eaten during our lifetime. And some are still eating this stuff and say: I can pray over the food and make it clean. Really? Are you deceived by satan? Yahweh will not make clean what He has condemned as an abomination! read Deuteronomy 14:3!

3 Re eh see" Page Av 28 Deuteronomy 13 This chapter starts out very interesting. Moses is saying that Yahweh will allow a teacher, pastor, evangelist, or prophet to do miraculous works in your presence TO TEST whether you will follow ALL 10 Commandments! Deuteronomy 13:1 You shall not ADD TO or SUBTRACT from what I command you to do. (THIS COVENANT IS FOREVER!) I, Yahweh DO NOT CHANGE! Definition of a false prophet : one who tells you that God changes from what was spoken on Mt Sinai to Moses??????? vs 2-3 If a prophet gives you a sign or wonder (the supernatural) and says let us go after other gods because this is the right way to do what this god says as in some other way to honor covenant. Example: The prophet or teacher might say that the Ten Commandments or dietary laws are no longer required by God s people. This teacher says you can eat whatever you want or you can call the Sabbath or your commanded day to rest Sunday, or you can work or do whatever you want on the 7th Day of the week. Idolatry is doing anything of a religious or worship nature that is different from what Yahweh says we are to do as in the 10 Commandments. vs 4 Moses says We are not to follow that Prophet (or teacher or pastor) for Yahweh is testing you to see if you really love His 10 Commandments. vs 5 You shall follow the Lord, your God, fear Him, keep His commandments, heed His voice, worship Him, and cleave to Him. vs 6 That prophet (teacher, pastor) is to be put to death for Yahweh is the God that brought you out of bondage. We are to worship and do only what Yahweh says. We obey this verse today by ignoring that prophet, teacher, or pastor because sanctification is a process and we must be gentle with our brothers in Christ. vs 7 If your family says says let us go and worship God (the way my pastor teaches), we are not to listen to them! WHY? Yahweh hates mixture or the mixing of what Yahweh considers CLEAN and what Yahweh considers UNCLEAN or the holy vs unholy, or the set-apart vs the common. It is so obvious that the common is what everyone else (in Christianity) is doing. Does Christianity worship Yahweh on the 7th Day or the 1st Day? Yahweh is a jealous Elohim. Yahweh wants worship done HIS WAY.

4 Re eh see" Page Av 28 Deuteronomy13: 9 You shall not desire him, and you shall not hearken to him; neither shall you pity him, have mercy upon him, nor shield him. This sounds like no compassion? Rashi says shield means if we are aware of something that will condemn him, we are not to remain silent. And in the NT it says that we are also to walk quietly with an unbeliever as with a spouse. 1 Peter 3 says that the believing or Torah Observant spouse is to win the unbelieving spouse (not Torah Observant) by the believing spouse s behavior or gentleness. 1 Peter 2:11-12 Peter says that Christians may suffer slander in a way that wins unbelievers to faith in God. vs 10 We are not to kill people (unbelievers) today or stone people with stones. Yahweh hates murder. I believe Yahweh handles this commandment during times of judgement. vs 13 sons of Belial (H1100- ungodly men who bring ruin) or children without a yoke {of Torah} by saying lets do religion this way-like these people or this church. *1st mention! same as 2 Corinthians 6:15 that says do not be unequally yoked. What peace does Yeshua have with Belial? The context here Paul is talking about being unequally yoked with unbelievers (people who do not the 10 Commandments). 1 Timothy 6:1 Let all that are under the yoke of slavery (to Torah) count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of Yahweh and His doctrine (Torah) not be blasphemed. Matthew 11:29-30 Take my yoke (of Torah) upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and humble of heart, and ye shall find rest for your souls. For My yoke (of Torah) is easy and My burden is light. Deuteronomy 14:1 Do not cut yourselves to give honor to the dead. We are not to give honor to the dead. For example: vampire movies, pictures of skeletons, skulls, zombies, vampires, horned people, on t-shirts, tattoos, etc. We are not to have pictures, movies, etc. like this. I believe it is OK to have pictures of our deceased family? vs 3 Do not eat any abominable thing that is not what I, Yahweh says is FOOD.

5 Re eh see" Page Av 28 Deuteronomy 14: 5 ok to eat the ibex. a type of antelope (blow ibex horn) vs 7-8 You may not eat an animal that does not have a split hoof and you may not eat the SWINE that looks kosher because it has a split hood. The swine is the only animal that looks clean on the outside but is unclean on the inside. This is why in Isaiah 65:3-4 and vs 17 Isaiah talks about how Yahweh will build a new heavens and new earth, but prior to this Isaiah says that Yahweh is provoked all day long by a people who eat the swine. Also in Isaiah 66:17 Again the context of this chapter is the last days judgement of sin in the earth and Yahweh says that those who eat pig meat shall be cut off. And again in Acts 10:14 Peter says to Yahweh I have NEVER eaten pig meat. Deuteronomy 14:10 Do not eat catfish, scrimp, clams, or lobster vs 21 Do not boil a kid in it s mother s milk. Why? It is a pagan tradition. This is still done today in the middle east by some as tradition. Nothing to do with eating a milk product and meat together or waiting 6 hrs, etc. vs 22 You shall tithe the seed crop (your source of income) year after year. This is the 1st tithe of 10%. vs 23 You shall tithe to Yahweh in the place He chooses. Why is this command repeated? It is talking about the 2nd tithe of 10%. vs If we do not bring animals or grain as a 2nd tithe, we are to bring money and spend it on the High Holy Days on ourselves or others to help them learn Torah. vs We are to tithe to the Levite (teacher of Torah) and we are to help the poor, the orphan, and the widow. money, or time, or skills, or talents, or food, or clothing, etc. Deuteronomy 15:1 At the end of 7 years we are to release all debts (money owed to us by fellow Torah Keepers). I have found that it is best not to lend money, just give it. vs 6 Do not borrow money. vs 7 Help the needy (brothers in Torah). vs 8 Give the money to the needy freely and if he refuses a free gift then loan it to him. lending money is a form of domination borrowing money is a form of slavery vs 12 The command to set slaves free in the 7th year-the Sabbatical year.

6 Re eh see" Page Av 28 Deuteronomy 16 This is a repeat of the same commands given earlier: vs 1 MAKE A PASSOVER OFFERING TO YAHWEH-how? bitter herbs, lamb, matzah Rashi says they left in the morning (sunrise?) but were told to leave by Pharoah at night It was a full moon! Thousands of people. Do not work on Nisan 15 & Nisan 21 We are to make a tithe at Passover. Make a tithe where you learn Torah. No leaven in your house during the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Eat matzah for 7 days. Count the Omer for 7 Sabbaths or 49 days beginning at the First Fruits of Barley Do no work on Pentecost Make a special tithe at Pentecost. Honor Tabernacles for 7 days (no work on Tab Day 1 & the 8th Day-Shemini Atzeret) could the season of Tabernacles begin at Trumpets and include the 10 Days of Awe and Atonement? trumpets, 10 days of Awe, & atonement being prerequisites for tabernacles? hmmmm. three feasts that honor Yahweh: vs 16 We are not to appear empty-handed at Passover, Pentecost, or Tabernacles This is the 2nd Tithe of 10% that is saved all year long based on the income received each week or month. vs 17 On these 3 feasts bring as much as you can afford Halftarah Isaiah 54:11 Why are you afflicted with so many troubles? Are you not consoled or comforted? Yahweh shall lay your foundation on sapphires. vs 13 All your sons shall be taught the 10 Commandments (Torah) and they shall live in peace. vs 14 You shall no longer fear Terror. vs 15 Anyone who should try to vex or conspire against you shall fall vs 17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper. This is your heritage if you are a slave to Yahweh and His Torah or 10 Commandments. Do we believe those promises? Do we feel like Hercules who can do anything on our own strength or has life thrown us a few curve balls? Are we weak or weaker than we we were say at age 21? Can I believe no weapon against me shall prosper? Can I believe that He that is in me is greater than he that is in the world? Are we afraid at times and fearful of others?

Psalm 44:22 and Romans 8:36-37 says For thy sake we are killed all the day long like sheep for the slaughter BUT IN ALL THINGS WE ARE MORE THAN CONQUERORS. really? how can we be victorious in Christ? one way: give Him the 1st minutes of every day before anything else. Just try it and do not give up. do not miss a day! Yahweh knows everything that is going to happen the day when you wake up! John 5:19, Phil 4:13, 2Tim 1:7, Phil 2:13, John 15:5 another way: 2Corinthians 10:5 take every bad thought captive another way: speak scripture over the issue like King David and others. read Psalms another way: stop sinning of course. obey All the Torah & the Fruit of the Spiritrevealed by our thoughts and emotions. are we contentious, anxious, anti-social, complainer, unforgiving, etc. etc. Isaiah 55:1 All who thirst, go to water. Rashi says this is Torah-the 10 Commandments and that Torah is better than money or food. vs 3 If you will listen to Yahweh, He will make an eternal covenant (Torah) of protection, etc. with you. Brit Chadashah 1 John 4:1-6 Do not believe every spirit. (this is similar to Deuteronomy 13:1-6). What is the SPIRIT OF TRUTH and the SPIRIT OF ERROR? Truth is Torah and the 10 Commandments. Error is anything different as in something added or taken away from how Yahweh spoke it or the original text! Followers of Yeshua KNOW YAHWEH and greater is Yahweh (who is in you- TRUTH) than he that is in the world-other spirits that say this is the way of God.
