1 What Did St. John the Divine Reveal in the Revelation? Interpretation of 5 th and 6 th Trumpets Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. John, 1,3 1

2 The Revelation of St. John the Divine The Fifth Trumpet Chapter 9, paragraphs 1-2 9:1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. 9:2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. Interpretation On January 17, 1991, the Persian Gulf War began. This area is rich in oil reserves. Oil rises from the ground - the pit. Under the order of Saddam Hussein, the oil fields were put on fire, and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. Similar comments were made in the news media. The comments, one of the match St. John s records made 2000 years ago. Surprisingly as it may be, St. John in the Revelation saw the Iraq-Kuwait war troubles. And he recorded what he saw. Fig. 1, 2, 3, 4 2

3 The Revelation Chapter 9, paragraphs :3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. 9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. 9:5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. 9:6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. 9:7 And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. 9:8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. 9:9 And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. 9:10 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months. Interpretation After the war troubles St. John saw in the Revelation the so-called locusts, which today we call TV sets. The TV sets really hurt neither grass nor tree, but only people. This Chapter was decoded in 1991, when TV receiver antennas had locust shape and there were a lot of houses with such antennas on roofs. At that time, TV sets had legs like a horse with television sets. If you switch on the TV, the screen will appear on the face as a man indeed, if you remove the TV set cover, behind the screen you will see the coil with wire woven as a woman s hair crowned with a comb (old model television sets had such internal devices). The printed boards, the so-called panels have teeth, the TV frame or armor is iron, on the sides a TV set has speakers which tremble as wings and have a great voice. A TV set has a cable in the form of a tail like a scorpion and the cable-tail has a sting - a thin wire, which enters a TV socket. The TV set operation power is included in the tail because if we unplug it, it will really not work. A lot of damage and passion come from this seemingly ordinary thing, which gradually intrudes in a man and stupefies him like a scorpion s poison: cruelty, pornography, hidden and direct propaganda of sodomy, politicized news, provocative programs and many other are gradually changing human nature and contribute to its spiritual degradation. 3

4 A PC is the advanced kind of a TV. Thousands of computer games are created where the player is killing people in a virtual space. By this way the player s psyche uses to play the killer s role. There are numerous cases where people engaged in such games kill people in reality. Psychologists believe that such games are provoking real murders. Hence, description of this item appeared in the Revelation text as a negative phenomenon of our time. Revelation Chapter 9, paragraph :11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon. 9:12 One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter. Interpretation In the vicinity of the territory of war is the town of Abadan (see Fig. 5).The trouble in this region had not been over with the Iraq-Kuwait War but was followed with two more ones. 5 The Revelation of St. John the Divine The Sixth Trumpet Chapter 9, paragraphs :13 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, 9:14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. 9:15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. 9:16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. Interpretation The Middle East for its minerals - oil and gas has drawn the interest of various countries. For a few years in Syria, where the Euphrates flows, the internal war between the national armed forces and armed rebels has taken place. Foreign countries are supplying the rebels with money and weapons. Among the rebels, in addition to the local population, tens of thousands of foreign mercenaries are fighting. The other part of the foreign countries supplies weapons to government forces. The opposing parties look like this. The first side: across the oceans and rising out of the water - the country with the greatest power - the US and its friendly countries, their governments: Israel, Europe and some Asian countries, the NATO bloc. On the other side: the country with the greatest power - Russia (which became rich due to oil and gas rising from the earth) and its neighboring countries, their governments. They are mainly Asian countries, including the Syrian authorities. The main interest of two opposing sides is energy carriers and of course, their transit roads, where Syria represents one of the strategically important areas. The Iraq-Kuwait war ended in 1991 and was a short-term war. The current conflict lasts longer. The reason of this we shall find out in the balance of forces of the conflicting sides. In 1991, the US troops with the most powerful weapons intervened in the war against Iraq and Saddam Hussein had no power to stop this giant. Today the situation has changed. During the past 20 years, Russia, at the expense of export of oil and gas rising from the earth, has improved its economic and military potential. Consequently, now the opposing sides in Syria, are supported by the two largest countries (together with their allies), that delayed the end of the conflict. The number of those people wounded, poisoned, and killed during the Syrian war has exceeded 200,000 including many 5

6 civilians. The situation is further complicated by the fact that Syria produces biological and chemical weapons. Fig 6. Syria. The area where the chemical weapon may be available is marked red. On Fig. 6 the area marked red shows the territory around Syria, where biological, chemical and other weapons fired from Syria can achieve. The coverage area in terms of kilometers is equal to about 700 square kilometers. This is the two-year-old data, in parallel with the technology development, this area will increase on all four sides. The Syrians install chemical weapons in missiles, which are attached to military aircraft, thus increasing the coverage area of military operations. Unfortunately, the situation is ready for dire development. The words given in the interpretation in bold and the Revelation apparently coincide. Once again, let s read the Revelation. Chapter 9, paragraphs :14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. 9:15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. 9:16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. 6

Poisonous gases used for chemical weapons Based on the intelligence data, Syria has thousands of chemical missiles, which may at any time be installed on aircraft: Su -22, Su-24, MiG-23 and used both within the country and against neighboring states. The case is complicated by the fact that Syria has not signed the Chemical Weapons Convention. This situation creates the most real threat to Israel, in the opinion of which, if Syria loses control of chemical weapons in Syria, and it appears in the hands of Hezbollah group, then, the war between the two countries will be 7

8 inevitable. So far, the chemical weapons used by the Syrians not against neighboring countries, but in the internal conflict, has led to terrible results. Hundreds of people died, including many children. Fig. 8a Population died as a result of use of chemical weapons Chapter 9, paragraphs :17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. 9:18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. Interpretation St. John in his Revelation saw military vehicles and described them as horses. He saw the car-mounted shells and missiles, and described them as horsemen. There are many types of modern military vehicles, the armor envelope of which is of different color and they look stronger than the lion s heads. Before shooting, fire and smoke and sulfur come from their mouths and kill people. The pictures below show military vehicles produced in different countries. Their appearance resembles each other. Some of such vehicles are used in the hostilities in Syria. 8

People are killed with fire, smoke and sulfur coming from their mouths Chapter 9, paragraph 19 9:19 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt Interpretation After launch, the missile leaves smoke in the form of a snake tail, and the tail had a head (i.e. the missiles) which injures people. 10

Chapter 9, paragraph :20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: 9:21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts. Interpretation The interpretation of these two paragraphs is not difficult, they describe the aftermath of war, how the life goes on after the war and how a man falls more morally as he commits sins but does not repent them. The end of interpretation of the Sixth Trumpet. 13

14 A large part of John's Revelation is over. Six trumpets have sounded. The Revelation describes some apocalyptic events and personalities foreboding the Seventh, last Trumpet: The man who will execute John the Divine s mission. 2 God s witnesses who will have authority over the waters. A beast who will kill those two. After this, John tells us about the seventh, last trumpet. Chapter 11, paragraph 15 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. AMEN! Brothers and sisters, repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near. Beg forgiveness and forgive me, if I ve hurt your willingly or unwillingly.
