SAINT DAVID S UNITED CHURCH
Hymn: VU 221 Sing Praise to God
Sing Praise to God Sing praise to God, who has shaped and sustains all creation! Sing praise, my soul, In profound and complete adoration! Gladsome rejoice Organ and trumpet and voice Joining God s great congregation.
Praise God, our guardian, who lovingly offers correction, Who, as on eagle s wings, saves us from sinful dejection. Have you observed, how we are always preserved By God s parental affection?
Sing praise to God, with sincere thanks for all your successes. Merciful God ever loves to encourage and bless us. Only conceive what godly strength can achieve: Strength that would touch and caress us.
Sing praise, my soul, the great name of your high God commending. All that have life and breath join you, their notes sweetly blending. God is your light! Soul, ever keep this in sight: Amen, amen never ending.
Sean: Alicia: I believe in God. Do you believe in God? People: God is great and we believe!
Sean: Alicia: I believe in me. Do you believe in you? People: Well, I guess, we kind of do.
Sean: Alicia: But you believe in God. And God s a part of you. People: So believing in us is part of it too?
Sean: Alicia: You know it s true. So believe in you. People: God is great and I am too!
Don t Be Afraid Don t be afraid. My love is stronger, My love is stronger than your fear. Don t be afraid. My love is stronger And I have promised, Promised to be always near.
All: We rarely think of it, God, but despite the distance that often grows between us we re really never very far from you. So close, in fact, that though we re rarely ever of one mind about anything in a lot of ways we are truly one body and that means we draw our strength and wisdom straight from you.
And so we beseech you, God, to draw a little nearer still. To be present in our worship here this morning that we might feel your strength coursing through and be reminded that we need have no doubts about ourselves. We are yours and that is all the strength we ll ever need.
Don t Be Afraid Don t be afraid. My love is stronger, My love is stronger than your fear. Don t be afraid. My love is stronger And I have promised, Promised to be always near.
I m Gonna Hide God s Word Inside My Heart I m gonna hide God s word inside my heart And learn each verse from memory. I m gonna hide God s word inside my heart Until His Word is part of me.
God s Word will help me each and every day To know what is right from what is wrong. The more that I read it, the more I learn from Him, And His Word will make me strong. That s why
I m gonna hide God s word inside my heart And learn each verse from memory. I m gonna hide God s word inside my heart Until His Word is part of me.

Lord, Listen to Your Children Praying Lord, listen to your children praying, Lord, send your Spirit in this place; Lord, listen to your children praying, Send us love, send us power, send us grace!
The Lord s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name, Thy kingdom come, thy will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Walk with me, I will walk with you And build the land That God has planned Where love shines through.
Isaiah 40:28-31
Saint David s Senior Choir On Eagle s Wings Psalm 91

Sacred Space Pause, Pray, Reflect One: All: One: Hear the Word of scripture. In the Spirit we will listen. Pause. Pray. Reflect. And in silence enjoy this moment of sacred space.
IN YOURSELF
Offering
Grant Us, God, the Grace Grant us, God, the grace of giving, With a spirit large and free, That ourselves and all our living We may offer faithfully.
Offertory Prayer
Prayers of the Community
Hymn: VU660 How Firm a Foundation
How Firm a Foundation How firm a foundation, you servants of God Is laid for your faith in God s excellent word! What more can be said than to you has been said, To you who for refuge to Jesus have fled?
Fear not, I am with you; O be not dismayed! For I am your God and will still give you aid; I ll strengthen and help you, and cause you to stand, Upheld by my righteous, omnipotent hand.
When through the deep waters I call you to go, The rivers of sorrow shall not overflow; For I will be with you, your troubles to bless, And sanctify to you your deepest distress.
When through fiery trials your pathway shall lie, My grace, all-sufficient, shall be your supply: The flame shall not hurt you; I only design Your dross to consume, and your gold to refine.
The soul that on Jesus has leaned for repose I will not I will not desert to its foes; That soul, though all hell should endeavour to shake, I ll never no, never no, never forsake!

Like a Rock Like a rock, like a rock, God is under our feet. Like the starry night sky God is over our head. Like the sun on the horizon God is ever before. Like the river runs to ocean, Our home is in God evermore.
