Each puzzle contains a Scripture reference and a Bible-story topic for easy reference (Bible Memory puzzles include only a reference), is able to be photocopied, for use many times with many different students, is a complete activity, with no extra materials (other than a pencil) required (exceptions include page 26, which requires a calculator for figuring square roots, and page 62, which requires a mirror), reinforces and teaches Bible facts, correlates with a Scripture from Standard Publishing s HeartShaper Middle Elementary curriculum, and contains a separate answer key on pages How to Find the Puzzles You Want To find a puzzle based on a particular Scripture, look in the table of contents on pages 3 6. The first 103 puzzles are based on Bible stories or Bible passages and are arranged in order through the Bible, beginning with Genesis and ending with Revelation. The last 21 puzzles are based on Bible Memory verses and are also arranged in order through the Bible. To find a puzzle that correlates with a particular lesson in Standard Publishing s HeartShaper Middle Elementary Sunday school curriculum, look at the Scope & Sequence on pages of this book. Find the quarter and lesson that you are teaching, and you will be directed to the page in this book that contains the correlating puzzle. 9 Creative Counting Creation Genesis 1 Look at the story of creation in the first chapter of Genesis. Use information from the story to complete this puzzle ACROSS 1. 10 The Fall Genesis 2, 3 Gardener s Dilemma Unscramble the letters in each section of the garden and write your answer on its line. In the beginning, the Garden of Eden was the perfect place for the man and woman who lived there. But something went terribly wrong, and they couldn t stay. Read Genesis 2 and 3. Then put on your gardening hat and identify some of the growing things mentioned in this Bible story

That s what happened in Genesis 11:1-9. Read the Scripture and fill in the clues.
