1 INVASION AND CONQUEST OF THE PROMISED LAND and JUDGES Note to Parents To PARENTS: I am excited about this new quarter beginning. Your children and I will be studying the INVASION AND CONQUEST OF THE PROMISED LAND and JUDGES periods of the Bible. I plan on being prepared as the teacher to impart God's word to your child, and being in class on time. Here are a few things you can do as a parent to help your child: I will be sending a each service. The will include the lesson text and memory work for the next lesson. Please take the time to READ THE TEXT to your child before the next class. This does not have to be done right before the class period. You can incorporate the reading as their Bible story before bedtime, or during quiet time with your child. The more often they hear the Bible story, the more it is going to "stick with them". Help your child with. Don't let him/her be intimidated by this. The TAKE HOME SHEET will have the child's new memory work on it. Put it by his/her bed, put it on the refrigerator, or tack to the bathroom mirror to read as they brush their teeth. Have them just read it/say it once every day. Children are like little "sponges" during this time of their lives and can memorize very easily, more than you or I can. If you do this, they will memorize much of it without even realizing that they are. We need to take advantage of this! They will have more than one class to learn each new verse. BRING THEM TO CLASS and bring them ON TIME! If we are all in class on time we can accomplish so much more, and they will retain so much more! If they are not in class they are missing out, but so is the class. We learn and grow together. If your children are not in class, not only is this detrimental to their spiritual growth, but it is discouraging to the rest of the class and the teacher. Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. LET'S BE LIKE DAVID OF OLD : " Psa 119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee." Let's "Hide" God's Word in their hearts. There is no more important thing we can do to help them as they grow and mature! We all have busy lives, but let's determine to put the spiritual things first! Our soul's salvation, and the salvation of our children's souls depend on it. I'm looking forward to learning God's Word with your child!! [1]

Notice that one-half of Manasseh is on one side of the Jordan River and the other half is on the other side. Color both areas of the Manasseh the same color. Color the water blue. Notice that Judah and Simeon are together in the same area -- color both the same color. [8]
