2 Three Verses To Consider Hebrews 12:12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; Galatians 6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

The battle with Amalek Exodus 17: Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim. 9 And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand. 10 So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.

7 I. We Are In A Battle A. The forces of evil are arrayed against us 1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

8 I. We Are In A Battle A. The forces of evil are arrayed against us continued Psalm 56:1-2 1 Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresseth me. 2 Mine enemies would daily swallow me up: for they be many that fight against me, O thou most High.

9 I. We Are In A Battle B. We are to do battle with the enemy Ephesians 4:27 Neither give place to the devil. Matthew 16:27 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

10 I. We Are In A Battle C. We are equipped to win this battle 1. The power of the Gospel Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 2. The power of the Holy Spirit 1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

11 I. We Are In A Battle C. We are equipped to win this battle 3. The armor provided us Ephesians 6: Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Ultimate victory is sure 1 Corinthians 15: But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

We May Become Weary In Battle Exodus 17: And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. 12 But Moses hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.

15 II. We May Become Weary In Battle C. Fatigue is associated with ministry Psalm 69:3 I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God. Isaiah 7:13 And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?

We Can Hold Up The Hands Of Those Who Are Weary Exodus 17:12 But Moses hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. 18 III. We Can Hold Up The Hands Of Those Who Are Weary How can we hold up weary hands? 1. By praying one for another James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

19 III. We Can Hold Up The Hands Of Those Who Are Weary How can we hold up weary hands? 2. By refusing to criticize one another 1 Peter 2:1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,

By faithfully worshipping with one another Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
