1 Who are your enemies Part 2 30/4/13 We need Allah to guide us to the straight path. On that way there is an obstacle, there is an enemy who tries to delay us, to misguide us and cut the relation between us and Allah. This is Shaytaan. In Surah Baqarah Verses : This is the description of the Shaytan. Allah described the Shaytan to us so we will know all his plots. all of mankind, whether believer or disbeliever. This is a message from Allah for Allah commands us to:

2 1) -> Allah commands us to eat. This is something essential in our life. Our life and our Aakhirah depend on the type of food we eat. What type of food should we eat? The food which will help you fulfill the covenant with Allah is the Halal and good food. Eating these kinds of food will help you complete the mission which Allah created you for. type of food you can find happiness in the Dunya and Aakhirah. In this Whatever Allah commands us with helps us in our journey to Allah. Allah also forbade us from something. There is something that will distract us: Allah forbade us from following the footsteps of Shaytan. = To Follow

3 = Footsteps. The Shaytan has steps, trying his best to make the human being who has this huge responsibility to follow him. The Shaytan will not tell you to disobey Allah directly; He has steps which will make the human being gradually follow them. This is why Allah forbade us from coming near the sins. being disobeys his Lord. The Shaytan has steps until the human man. The steps of the Shaytan also are the ways of the Shaytan to mislead What a beautiful command from Allah. Allah tells us not to follow the Shaytan s footsteps because he is an enemy to us! He pretends to like us and advise us but he really is creating enmity. He declared a war against us even before we were born. His enmity is very clear. Allah is telling us this! He makes people hate each other, complain about each other, backbite and slander. He is the enemy of all the human beings and he wants to whisper and make everyone attack each other. He wants to make enmity between the people. He will not command you except with what is bad.

4 What does Shaytan want to achieve? He wants to deceive the human being in order to make them dwellers of the hellfire. Allah is warning us against this clear enemy. In Verse 169: Our way is to Allah and we have a trust to fulfill. The Shaytan tries to distract us. The Shaytan tries to make us do two things: 1) Everything that harms the person. This includes all of the sins. This is how Allah makes us hate the sins. Sins are very harmful. 2) This includes shameful sins and indecency. This is part of He commands all that is evil. We shouldn t follow his footsteps because he is our enemy. He will not command us except what is bad. He beautifies what is shameful and indecent. He commands us with and from that he specifically commands us with How does he command us? By Whispering

5 He doesn t care about your nationality, gender, age. A human being is a human being to him. His enmity is towards anyone who is a human. People are different. There are people who are inclined to desires, so he beautifies the sins for them. There may be people who have intellect and don t follow their desires. Because they are intelligent and always think he has a different strategy: knowledge about. For them to say something about Allah which they have no When it comes to Allah we can t imagine or describe Him except how He described Himself. The Shaytan tries to make them say about Allah without knowledge. No one can grasp Allah, therefore we are not supposed to say about Allah except what Allah and the Messenger have said about Him. They might invent new names from Allah, things that Allah didn t say about Himself. Or they may say something about Allah s decrees or legislations. They might say something about Allah or His actions without knowledge. They will give opinions, suggestions, etc. This is one of the tricks of the Shaytan.
