What well of water is that? Where is it located?

2 Brothers, we will consider today Biblical accounts and Islamic scriptures to see where was located this well. But what is the name of this well in the Holy Scripture/Taurat which existed before foundation of Islam? Look what happened in our history which we read in the Taurat/Torah: After Abraham was separated with his bondservant Hagar (because of constant conflicts of Hagar with Sarah and Ishmael with his brother Isaac), she and her son left Abraham and his wife Sarah to find another place to live. When Hagar thought that Ishmael will die God showed her a well. Let s read about it: But God said to Abraham, Do not let it be displeasing in your sight because of the lad or because of your bondwoman. Whatever Sarah has said to you, listen to her voice; for in Isaac your seed shall be called. Yet I will also make a nation of the son of the bondwoman, because he is your seed. So Abraham rose early in the morning, and took bread and a skin of water; and putting it on her shoulder, he gave it and the boy to Hagar, and sent her away. Then she departed and wandered in the Wilderness of Beersheba. And the water in the skin was used up, and she placed the boy under one of the shrubs. Then she went and sat down across from him at a distance of about a bowshot; for she said to herself, Let me not see the death of the boy. So she sat opposite him, and lifted her voice and wept. And God heard the voice of the lad. Then the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said to her, What ails you, Hagar? Fear not, for God has heard the voice of the lad where he is. Arise, lift up the lad and hold him with your hand, for I will make him a great nation. Then God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water. And she went and filled the skin with water, and gave the lad a drink. So God was with the lad; and he grew and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer. He dwelt in the Wilderness of Paran; and his mother took a wife for him from the land of Egypt.

There is another story in the Tauurat/Torah which reads: Genesis 16 A wife of Ibrahim, Sarah said: go in to my maid; perhaps I shall obtain children by her. And Abram heeded the voice of Sarai. Then Sarai, Abram s wife, took Hagar her maid, the Egyptian, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan. So he went in to Hagar, and she conceived. And when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress became despised in her eyes. Then Sarai said to Abram, My wrong be upon you! I gave my maid into your embrace; and when she saw that she had conceived, I became despised in her eyes. The LORD judge between you and me. So Abram said to Sarai, Indeed your maid is in your hand; do to her as you please. And when Sarai dealt harshly with her, she fled from her presence. Now the Angel of the LORD found her by a spring of water in the wilderness, by the spring on the way to Shur. And He said, Hagar, Sarai s maid, where have you come from, and where are you going?

She said, I am fleeing from the presence of my mistress Sarai. The Angel of the LORD said to her, Return to your mistress, and submit yourself under her hand. Then the Angel of the LORD said to her, I will multiply your descendants exceedingly, so that they shall not be counted for multitude. And the Angel of the LORD said to her: Behold, you are with child, And you shall bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael, Because the LORD has heard your affliction. He shall be a wild man; His hand shall be against every man, And every man s hand against him. And he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren. Then she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, You-Are-the-God-Who-Sees; for she said, Have I also here seen Him who sees me? Therefore the well was called Beer Lahai Roi; observe, it is between Kadesh and Bered. So Hagar bore Abram a son; and Abram named his son, whom Hagar bore, Ishmael. Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar bore Ishmael to Abram..

We see that Hagar met 2 times with angels (before the birth of Ishmael and when she was separated with Ibrahim). Where was located a well? Genesis 16:7 Now the Angel of the LORD found her by a spring of water in the wilderness, by the spring on the way to Shur. Genesis 16:14 That is why the well was called Beer Lahai Roi; it is still there, between Kadesh and Bered So, the location of the Beer Lahai Roi well is stated to be on the road to Shur between Kadesh and Bered, south of Israel. But we need to find this place on our map and we will do a little bit later. Bit now I want to tell you that there is also a well in Saudi Arabia which is a holy place for every Muslim. The name of this well is Zamzam. Millions of Muslims drink Zamzam water every year. Millions of Muslims visit the well each year while performing the Hajj or Umrah pilgrimages, in order to drink its water and, in many cases, to take home some of its water for distribution

6 many cases, to take home some of its water for distribution among friends and relations believing the well and the water which it pumps to be miraculous. Many Muslims also consider the Zam Zam well a contemporary miracle, never having gone dry despite the millions of liters of water consumed every year. Millions of people drink this water regularly and have fed their children and other loved-ones with it, thereby putting themselves and others at risk. Why? I will explain it later. So, the Well of Zamzam is a well located within the Masjid al- Haram in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, 20 meters (66 feet) east of the Ka aba,the holiest place in Islam. The well is 35 meters deep and topped by an elegant dome. According to Islamic belief, it was a miraculously-generated source of water from God, which began thousands of years ago when Abraham s infant son Ishmael was thirsty and kept crying for water. Zamzam water has no colour or smell, but it has a distinct taste, and its ph is , indicating that it is alkaline to some extent and is similar to seawater. Our respected brother Walid Saifaddin Ashour had many chances to drink this water during hajj. But Walid, in May 2011, a BBC investigation found that Zamzam water taken from the Zamzam Well contained arsenic levels three times the legal limit!arsenic is a carcinogen, raising concerns that Muslims who regularly consume Zamzam may be exposed to higher risks of cancer!!! The British Food Standards Agency issued warnings about water claiming to be Zamzam containing dangerous levels of arsenic.zamzam sales have also been reported in the UAE where it is illegal to sell Zamzam. The Saudi government has prohibited the commercial export of Zamzam from the Kingdom. In addition to the dangerous arsenic levels, the holy water contained high levels of nitrate and potentially harmful bacteria! According to Islamic tradition, Hagar was desperately seeking water for her infant son Ishmael, but could find none, as Mecca is located in a hot dry valley with few sources of water. Hagar ran seven times back and forth in the scorching heat between the two hills of Safa and Marwah, looking for water. An angel, Jibreel, was sent to them and he kicked the ground with his heel and the water rose. Now, brothers, note the pre-islamic history: Safa and Marwa are two mounts located in Mecca. Tawaf, the circumambulation between Safa and Marwa, was once a pagan ritual now associated with Islam, the Zamzam well, and the pilgrimage to Mecca! So, what is Tawaf between Safa and Marwa associated with the annual hajj pilgrimage to Mecca?

7 associated with the annual hajj pilgrimage to Mecca? Safa and Marwa are two mounts, located at Mecca. In Islamic tradition, Ibrahim was commanded by Allah to leave his wife Hazrat Hajra(Hagar) and their infant son alone in the desert, with only basic provisions. The place was between Al-Safa and Al- Marwah. When their provisions were exhausted, Hagar went in search of help or water. To make her search easier and faster, she went alone, leaving the infant Ishmael on the ground. She first climbed the nearest hill, Al-Safa, to look over the surrounding area. When she saw nothing, she then went to the other hill, Al-Marwah, to look around. While Hagar was on either hillside, she was able to see Ismael and know he was safe. However, when she was in the valley between the hills she was unable to see her son. Thus Hagar would run while in the valley between the hills and walk at a normal pace while on the hillsides. Hagar travelled back and forth between the hills seven times in the scorching heat before she returned to Ishmael. That s why in the Islamic ritual of Tawaf, Muslims go around the Kaaba 7 times. Now note, Muslims, that according to the Hadith, the Ka aba in Mecca was a center of idol-worship, with the Ka aba housing 360 idols! Narrated Abdullah bin Masud: The Prophet entered Mecca and (at that time) there were three hundred-and-sixty idols around the Ka aba. He started stabbing the idols with a stick he had in his hand and reciting: Truth (Islam) has come and Falsehood (disbelief) has vanished. Sahih Bukhari 3:43:658 And pagans made also circumambulation i.e.went in circles around a particular object. In Islam, worshippers and pilgrims do this merry-go-round around the Ka aba at Mecca. Pre-Islamic pagans used do it to please the moon god Hubal around Ka aba too! And not only this god but the 360 deities. Now you Walid are doing the same. You became one of the worshippers among them too. You warship Islamic allah (who was merely one among the many deities worshipped there). Not only do Muslims consider the well to be miraculous, but also the water which it pumps. Several Hadith narrations have been recorded concerning this. But I will offer you to read only two of them which I found interesting: (1) It is narrated on the the outhority of Anas b. Malik that the Messenger of Allah (Muhammad) (may peace be upon him) said: (the angels) came to me and took me to the Zamzam and my heart was opened and washed with the water of Zamzam and then I was left (at my place). (Book #001, Hadith #0310)

8 then I was left (at my place). (Book #001, Hadith #0310) (2) Narrated Ibn Abbas: The first lady to use a girdle was the mother of Ishmael. She used a girdle so that she might hide her tracks from Sarah. Abraham brought her and her son Ishmael while she was suckling him, to a place near the Ka ba under a tree on the spot of Zam-zam, at the highest place in the mosque. During those days there was nobody in Mecca, nor was there any water So he made them sit over there and placed near them a leather bag containing some dates, and a small water-skin containing some water, and set out homeward. Ishmael s mother followed him saying, O Abraham! Where are you going, leaving us in this valley where there is no person whose company we may enjoy, nor is there anything (to enjoy)? She repeated that to him many times, but he did not look back at her Then she asked him, Has Allah ordered you to do so? He said, Yes. She said, Then He will not neglect us, and returned while Abraham proceeded onwards, and on reaching the Thaniya where they could not see him, he faced the Ka ba, and raising both hands, invoked Allah saying the following prayers: O our Lord! I have made some of my offspring dwell in a valley without cultivation, by Your Sacred House (Kaba at Mecca) in order, O our Lord, that they may offer prayer perfectly. So fill some hearts among men with love towards them, and (O Allah) provide them with fruits, so that they may give thanks. (14.37) Ishmael s mother went on suckling Ishmael and drinking from the water (she had). When the water in the water-skin had all been used up, she became thirsty and her child also became thirsty. She started looking at him (i.e. Ishmael) tossing in agony; She left him, for she could not endure looking at him, and found that the mountain of Safa was the nearest mountain to her on that land. She stood on it and started looking at the valley keenly so that she might see somebody, but she could not see anybody. Then she descended from Safa and when she reached the valley, she tucked up her robe and ran in the valley like a person in distress and trouble, till she crossed the valley and reached the Marwa mountain where she stood and started looking, expecting to see somebody, but she could not see anybody. She repeated that (running between Safa and Marwa) seven times. The Prophet said, This is the source of the tradition of the walking of people between them (i.e. Safa and Marwa). When she reached the Marwa (for the last time) she heard a voice and she asked herself to be quiet and listened attentively. She heard the voice again and said, O, (whoever you may be)! You have made

9 voice again and said, O, (whoever you may be)! You have made me hear your voice; have you got something to help me? And behold! She saw an angel at the place of Zam-zam, digging the earth with his heel (or his wing), till water flowed from that place. She started to make something like a basin around it, using her hand in this way, and started filling her water-skin with water with her hands, and the water was flowing out after she had scooped some of it. The Prophet added, May Allah bestow Mercy on Ishmael s mother! Had she let the Zam-zam (flow without trying to control it) (or had she not scooped from that water) (to fill her waterskin), Zam-zam would have been a stream flowing on the surface of the earth. The Prophet further added, Then she drank (water) and suckled her child. The angel said to her, Don t be afraid of being neglected, for this is the House of Allah which will be built by this boy and his father, and Allah never neglects His people. The House (i.e. Kaba) at that time was on a high place resembling a hillock, and when torrents came, they flowed to its right and left. She lived in that way till some people from the tribe of Jurhum or a family from Jurhum passed by her and her child, as they (i.e. the Jurhum people) were coming through the way of Kada. They landed in the lower part of Mecca where they saw a bird that had the habit of flying around water and not leaving it. They said, This bird must be flying around water, though we know that there is no water in this valley. They sent one or two messengers who discovered the source of water, and returned to inform them of the water. So, they all came (towards the water). The Prophet added, Ishmael s mother was sitting near the water. They asked her, Do you allow us to stay with you? She replied, Yes, but you will have no right to possess the water. They agreed to that. The Prophet further said, Ishmael s mother was pleased with the whole situation as she used to love to enjoy the company of the people. So, they settled there, and later on they sent for their families who came and settled with them so that some families became permanent residents there. The child (i.e. Ishmael) grew up and learnt Arabic from them and (his virtues) caused them to love and admire him as he grew up, and when he reached the age of puberty they made him marry a woman from amongst them. Then Abraham stayed away from them for a period as long as Allah wished, and called on them afterwards. He saw Ishmael under a tree near Zamzam, sharpening his arrows. When he saw Abraham, he rose up to welcome him (and they greeted each other as a father does with his son or a son does with his father). Abraham said, O Ishmael! Allah has given me an order. Ishmael said, Do what your Lord has ordered you to do. Abraham asked, Will you help me? Ishmael said, I will help you. Abraham said,

10 Will you help me? Ishmael said, I will help you. Abraham said, Allah has ordered me to build a house here, pointing to a hillock higher than the land surrounding it. The Prophet added, Then they raised the foundations of the House (i.e. the Ka ba). Ishmael brought the stones and Abraham was building, and when the walls became high, Ishmael brought this stone and put it for Abraham who stood over it and carried on building, while Ishmael was handing him the stones, and both of them were saying, O our Lord! Accept (this service) from us, Verily, You are the All- Hearing, the All-Knowing. The Prophet added, Then both of them went on building and going round the Ka ba saying: O our Lord! Accept (this service) from us, Verily, You are the All- Hearing, the All-Knowing. (2.127) (Sahih Bukhari 4.583) What we see here? We see that this story is completely different from what was written in the Taurat! Who is Allah to be worshipped by us? Allah of the Taurat or Islamic allah? We will know the answer to this question after we will complete our historic survey today! Let me tell you brothers: The well which God showed to Hagar in the Wilderness of Beersheba (the second well found by Hagar in her life. See above the first story.) was not the well of Zamzam at Mecca!!! Then she departed and wandered in the Wilderness of Beersheba. But why? We can read in Genesis that Ishmael lived in the region south of Canaan. When Ishmael and his mother Hagar were sent away from Abraham s house in Beersheba, South of Palestine, they could not have walked more than 50 or 100 miles before the skin of water she carried was empty. Let s read the story as told in the book of Genesis. Gen 21:14 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave unto Hagar, putting on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba. And the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs. And she went, and sat her down over against [him] a good way off, as it were a bowshot: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against [him], and lift up her voice, and wept. And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink. And God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer. And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran: and his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt. Brothers, look at the facts concerning Ishmael and his mother.

11 Brothers, look at the facts concerning Ishmael and his mother. The well which God showed Hagar was in Beersheba, not very far from where Abraham had previously lived. It was in South Canaan. The well that the Lord showed to Hagar could not have been the well of Zamzam at Mecca, as Muslims claim, because the well of Mecca is more than a thousand miles from Beersheba!!! Obviously, Hagar could not possibly have been carrying a water supply for a thousand-mile walk. Even if she had food and water, the great distance between Hebron and Mecca was through an uninhabited desert, untraveled in her time, without any city or village for her to rest in. She would have needed more than a year to walk to her destination! She would have been an unescorted woman, traveling by foot. She would have had no caravan to carry her and no directions from previous travelers. Thus, saying that Hagar and Ishmael crossed the desert to Mecca is a ridiculous statement, which can be accepted only by persons who ignore completely the history of Arabia! We clearly see historical documentation that Mecca didn t exist before the Christian era, nor in the first few centuries after Christ lived on earth. This definitely refutes the Islamic claim that Mecca was in existence at the time of Abraham, and also refutes the claim of the Qur an that the the House at Mecca was built by Ishmael and Abraham. Thereby, the HOLY SCRIPTURE- Taurat- and even history exclude any connection between the pagan temple/house and the Biblical monotheistic faith which Abraham and his son Isaac, and Isaac s descendants, were entrusted with until the coming of Christ, who is the fulfillment of the revelation given to Abraham and to all the prophets of the Old Testament. Note brothers: So Abraham, Hagar and Ishmael walk a thousand miles to Mecca, through what at the time was uninhabited, uncharted, untraveled and unknown desert, then Abraham leaves Hagar and Ishmael under a tree with some dates, and a small water-skin, then turns around to walk the thousand miles back home? Anyone beginning to get the picture here? Islamic picture shows that ONLY Taurat is correct! Because ONLY Taurat is reasonable and only God described in the Taurat is the TRUE God! During the second encountering with an angel Hagar was in the Wilderness of Beersheba. It was in South Canaan. Brothers, note that that even the first well found by Hagar, when she was pregnant, could not be the Zamzam well! Therefore the well was called Beer Lahai Roi; observe, it is between Kadesh and Bered. But why? Because even this well called Beer Lahai Roi was locatedon the road to Shur between Kadesh and Bered. The wilderness of Shur is a desert East of the Gulf of Suez. The position of Shur is defined (Genesis 25:18) as being opposite Egypt on the way to Assyria. After crossing the Red Sea (Exodus

12 Egypt on the way to Assyria. After crossing the Red Sea (Exodus 15:4) the Hebrews entered the desert of Shur (Exodus 15:22), which extended southward a distance of three days journey. It is again noticed (1 Samuel 15:7) as being opposite Egypt, and (1 Samuel 27:8) as near Egypt. There is thus no doubt of its situation, on the East of the Red Sea, and of the Bitter Lakes. Bered is a town in the south of Israel. Kadesh, or Kadesh-Barnea was located north of The Sinai Peninsula between the Wilderness of Paran and the Wilderness of Zin. Thus, history and the Holy Bible/Taurat say that both wells (the first and the second wells) could not be located in Mecca! Why? Because Palestine cannt be considered by us as Saudi Arabia! The same way like America is not Saudi Arabia! You still want to say that Saudi Arabia could be Canaan? Ibrahim lived in the Land of Canaan according to orders of God and Taurat lists borders for the land of Canaan. In the Taurat (Numbers 34:2) includes the phrase the land of Canaan as defined by its borders. The borders are then delineated in Numbers 34:3 12. Read this chapter because these borders are TERRITORY of the Holy Land defined by God and commanded to Moses and his people to take for everlasting possession. And on this land lived Ibrahim and on this land God blessed Ishmael and Hagar with water. This land can NEVER be Saudi Arabia because it is Israel/Palestine. Another issue to consider: Zamzam water is both water and food says Islam! Millions of Muslims drink Zamzam water every year and have fed their children and other loved-ones with it. But thereby they have been putting themselves and others at risk of the effects of arsenicosis, which includes cancer! What one must consider is, would a true religion, if such a thing exists, advocate this? Would Allah, if such a deity existed, allow his followers to poison themselves? Taurat said NO. Because God, as seen in the Holy Scripture which existed before the foundation of Islam, said that He is God of LOVE! Zamzam with its poisoned water could not be water given by God! God does NOT kill people! The HOLY SCRIPTURE Taurat and history proved it. So, what kills you righteous Muslims, Arabs? Hundreds of times we see that it is Islam! Islam founded by angels. But God warned us NOT to listen to any angels even if they would appear to be angels of light. Because there is a FIGHT against God started by these angels/fallen angels/jinns and they kill people by deceiving them to cause harm to God because He loves them. And you, a Muslim, are one of victims of Islam and theses angels! Summary: Location of the well is west of Kadesh, south of Israel. Not in Mecca. Not in Saudi Arabia!!!!! It means that the well Beerlahai-roi and another one considered by us today could not be the well is Zamzam in Mecca. And it proves that Islam kills you. Jesus said that He is ready to give the Living Water to anyone who

13 ضا ر الز ل ز الز ن ص ولق الو ج انام said that He is ready to give the Living Water to anyone who thirst because He is Ibn Allah! His water does not kill! Revelation 21 All Things Made New Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. Then He who sat on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said to me, Write, for these words are true and faithful. And He said to me, It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. 15 God s Supreme Revelation 1 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; 3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, 4 having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. The Son Exalted Above Angels 5 For to which of the angels did He ever say: You are My Son, Today I have begotten You? And again: I will be to Him a Father, And He shall be to Me a Son? 6 But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says: Let all the angels of God worship Him. 7 And of the angels He says: Who makes His angels spirits And His ministers a flame of fire. 8 But to the Son He says: Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. 9 You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions. 10 And: You, LORD, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands. 11 They will perish, but You remain; And they will all grow old like a garment; 12 Like a cloak You will fold them up, And they will be changed.

And they will be changed. But You are the same, And Your years will not fail. 13 But to which of the angels has He ever said: Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool? 14 Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?
