2 23 rd February 2016 Introduction Surah Duha: We have Surah Duha in Quran where Allah swears by the day. The day is clear and the night is dark. Then Allah tells Nabi (Sallelaho alehe wassalam) that He will never him. The Hereafter or the Day of Judgement will be better than this world. This can also mean that what ever you are going through your life the beginning of it will be difficult but then it will become easy. First steps will always be difficult: The initial time of marriage, job or any other matter will be difficult and if you will be patient in the early time then the later time will be easy. Any new matter will be difficult for you naturally but you need to believe that the next steps will be easy. You need to be patient to get this. Some people are a trial for others by saying off you got married so early now you will have kids and your life will be so difficult so if you listen to these statements then in real our life will become more and more difficult with each passing day. But we need to believe in Allah that each of the next steps will be easier than the current time. The beginning is always difficult, as you have to take the first step. For taking class you will have to get up and take the first step.

3 Here after and Al Wasi Allah created the Dunya that is vast and our eyes are vast so imagine how it will be in the Hereafter and how vast will be the life of Here after. When Allah gives you a good house and open house you should be thankful to Allah as this is His gift. To believe in the Names of Allah you need to feel it actually. We cannot make boundaries for Allah. Whatever Allah has given you is from His name Al Wasi as He didn t give you in counts infact He gave you unlimited. Allah wants you to believe in this Name so that you have a vast mind and a vast thinking. There is unlimited knowledge about Allah. Opposite of Al Wasi Al Wasi means vast the opposite of Wasi is as follows; Al-Usur is difficult. Ad-Dayyik is tight. Ad Dayyik: Allah tells in Quran that He will not give you something that you cannot do. Ad Dayyik is a tight place like you cannot breathe. now we might think that we are in a situation that is very tight for us so we should ask Allah that you are Al Wasi that make it open for me and Allah will make it better for you. For e.g. you go for Tawaf and you ask Allah this you will feel a lot of place for yourself but for this you need to believe in this. Al Usur: This is difficult. Allah doesn t want difficulty for you in fact He wants to make things easy for you. He will always make things easy for you if you ask Him.

Surah Baqarah and vastness: Majority of the times this name Al Wasi is used in Surah Baqarah. This is used 4 times in Surah baqarah. Nabi (Sallelaho alehe wassalam) said that Surah Baqarah is barakah.

These Rules have created ease for us and gives vastness. The Name Al Baqarah is from the command of Allah to sacrifice one cow to the jews but they kept asking questions and they made it tight on themselves as they didn t submit to Allah s command. This shows that submitting to Allah s will is very important. This shows if you submit to Allah you will get vastness. The last ayah of Surah Baqarah is about vastness. Allah will not put something on you but to make things easy for you. It also says the more you spend for the sake of Allah the more He will bless you with. Vastness in Land: Allah is Wasi so that s why He commanded you to do hijrah as the land of Allah is very vast so that if you cant practice your deen at one place then you can shift to another place. Allah will make things easy for you if you do Hijra. When you are satisfied and you listen to Allah and obey Him then this is vastness from Allah.

5 Vastness in your current condition: Vastness can be in your Haal that is your current condition so you need to believe that Allah can make the current condition easier for you. Vastness in your actions: If someone is doing good deeds then Allah can give Vastness in their good deeds for example if someone is giving charity they can give more. Sharai Meaning of Al Wasi : It has two meanings that complement each other. for e.g. Allah is Ar Rahman so this is His personal trait even if there is no creation. Mutadi here means that a Quality that reaches others. Someone is rich then if he is giving to others it is reaching to someone else. Zatiah means something that is personal. Allah is Wasi even if there is no one. He is by Himself Al Wasi. No one else is giving Him this quality. There is no influence on His quality and no one can affect His qualities. The provision that we have is not our own we get it from someone but whatever Allah has is His own and He didn t get it from someone and no one can reduce what He has. Bizatihi Wasi He is Wasi Himself. If we have some quality then its given from Allah but He is himself Wasi. He had this trait always. He didn t get it from someone. We have many phases in life we get vastness slowly in our life with belief. We were in the womb of our mother then Allah let us come out. But Allah was always and will always be Al Wasi. This is confidence in Allah and makes us depend completely on Him alone. We will never feel miserable and feel sad as we have Allah who is Al Wasi. We should

6 not depend on people who will change over time. If they are vast today they might get tight tomorrow. We should take human beings like humans only and not think that they will never change. Al Wasi Fii asmaaihi: He is vast in His names. All His names are vast. He is Rahman, Raheem, Al Jabbar, Al Haleem and all the names of Allah are Wasi. No one can grasp Allah but Allah can grasp everything. This is because He is so vast. We need to think on the ayaat of Allah and we should not think about the details that how Allah rose over the throne as this will lead to destruction of Emaan. It s a pride and reward of the Hereafter that we can see Allah in the Hereafter. We cant see Him in this world because of our limitations. We can never finish learning one name of Allah for all our life because its meaning is so vast. Fee sifatihi: We cannot think about the knowledge of Allah as its so vast. There is no boundary for this knowledge and His knowledge encompasses everything. We cannot think about it but we need to believe that this is vast. Wasi fee Kalimatihi: He is vast in His speech. Allah spoke to Musa in surah Taha and we can see the vastness in His speech. We cannot think how His speech is vast but we need to believe that His speech is vast as this is part of our Emaan. Any other speech other than Allah is limited. The words will be limited and the meaning will be limited. We people say something and then change our statement. The word of Quran, its meaning and its application is umlimited. There are soo many applications of one ayah. Then you reflect on the ayah and get more and more. Allah teaches you more and moreabout Quran each time you try to learn it. This Quran can cure your sicknesses. You will experience it in your life. The applications of Quran is umlimited. Allah Wasi fee Rahmatihi: When the best people of bani Israel they said we want to see Allah and made the worst statement. Allah s anger and wrath is restricted but His Rahmath is unlimited and He sends mercy to everything. Allah knows

7 about your situation and He is merciful to your situation. Allah knows us more than we know ourselves. We might not know some sicknesses we have in our heart but Allah knows about it. Our knowledge is limited but His knowledge is umlimited. He knows exactly who we are and what should be done to us.
