Sayings of the Holy Prophet

2 2 Hazrat Abdullah b. Omar states, that the Holy Prophet of Allah said: Only that man wears silk In this world who has no share in the world-hereafter. (Bukhari, Muslim, Mishkaat ul Masabih, P 373)

3 3 Hazrat Sumrah states, that the Holy Prophet of Allah said: Wear white dress, because they are good and pure; and also make coffins for the dead out of white cloth. (Ahmed, Tirmizi, Mishkaat ul Masabih, P 373)

4 4 Hazrat Abu Musa states, that the Holy Prophet of Allah said: Gold and silk are permissible only for women of my ummah, and forbidden for men. (Tirmizi, Mishkaat ul Masabih, P 373)

6 6 HazratAmr b. Shuaib states, that the Holy Prophet ofallah said: Allah likes that the effects of His blessings should be visible on His servant that is, if one is given prosperity, it should be seen in one s dress etc. (Tirmizi, Mishkaat ul Masabih, P 375)

7 7 HazratAbu Umama states, that the Holy Prophet ofallah said: Simplicity is a part of religion; simplicity is a part of religion. (Abu daud, Mishkaat ul Masabih, P 375)

8 8 Hazrat Abu Huraira states, that the Holy Prophet of Allah said: Whenever you put on your shoes, begin with the right foot, and when you take them off, begin with the left one. It means the right foot should precede while putting on and it should follow while taking off shoes. (Bukhari, Muslim, Mishkaat ul Masabih, P 380)

9 9 Hazrat Jabir states, that the Holy Prophet ofallah said: If the lace of one shoe breaks, do not walk in one shoe but get the lace repaired. Similarly do not walk with only one stocking on, and do not eat with your left hand. (Muslim, Mishkaat ul Masabih, P 380)

10 10 HazratAbu Huraira states, that the Holy Prophet ofallah said: Five things are part of human nature; circumcision; shaving off the pubic hair; shortening the moustaches; paring the nails; shaving the hair of armpits. (Bukhari, Muslim, Mishkaat ul Masabih, P 380)

11 11 HazratAbdullah b. Omar states, that the Holy Prophet ofallah said: Oppose the polytheists; grow beards and shorten your moustaches. (Muslim)
