Session JUL 2015 DEC 2015 The following candidates have been provisionally Selected / Waitlisted for admission in B04 B.COM. (Hons.) on the basis of the aggregate of marks secured by them in Entrance test. Admission will be granted subject to fulfillment of the prescribed eligibility requirement. Admission formalities are to be completed by selected candidates between 30/06/2015 to 03/07/2015 in the office of the Department of Commerce. At the time of admission, selected candidates will submit the originals of the following along with a self attested photocopy. 1. Candidates should bring the downloaded Admit Card and Registration form and a recent Passport size Photograph at the time of admission. 2. Proof of passing the qualifying examination, together with the original marks sheet, in accordance with the eligibility requirements for admission as mentioned in Prospectus. 3. Proof of age based on the certificate of High School/Secondary School or an equivalent examination. 4. Proof of permanent address (Voter ID Card, Passport, Driving License) as declared in the application form with the name of Police Station and the District. 5. Candidates under reserved categories (i.e. Muslim, Muslim Women, Muslim OBC and Muslim ST) will have to submit an affidavit in the prescribed Performa (available on JMI website) on a Rs. 10/- non judicial stamp paper duly notarized by a Notary Public. annexure-i.pdf annexure-ii.pdf 6. In addition to the above affidavit, Muslim OBC and Muslim ST Candidates will be required to submit the respective category certificate along with the certificate of not belonging to creamy layer, issued by the competent authority recently. 7. For candidates who have applied in PWD category, certificate for disability is required from a government certified authority. 8. Candidates seeking admission under Kashmiri Migrants Category will be required to submit a certificate in support of their claim of being Kashmiri Migrants obtained from the registered Divisional Commissioner, of the concerned State/Union Territory.

2 9. Candidates seeking admission under Candidates from Jammu & Kashmir Category will be required to submit a state-domicile certificate in support of their claim of being from Jammu & Kashmir. 10. Character Certificate from the institution last attended. 11. Certificate from an M.B.B.S. doctor or a government hospital certifying blood group. 12. In case an intervening / gap period is involved, the candidate has to submit a certificate/ affidavit from Class 1 Gazetted Officer / Notary Public for the entire intervening / gap period showing year-wise preoccupation and non-indulgence in any criminal activities after leaving the institution last attended. 13. Affidavit for not indulging in ragging activity as per prescribed Performa. 14. In case of programs for which the eligibility requirement is graduation (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. etc.), a candidate whose result of the qualifying examination has not been declared, may be considered for provisional admission subject to : i. Submission of a certificate issued by the concerned College/University to the effect that he/she has appeared in the final semester/year of the concerned qualifying examination. ii. Verification of transcripts/marks sheets for the period preceding the final semester/year of the qualifying examination to establish the minimum eligibility requirements of the program. (On the basis of the results of the candidate declared so far.) iii. Submission of the result of the qualifying examination for verification in the concerned Department/Faculty/Centre of JMI, latest by August 31, Controller of Examinations, JMI
