2 INTRODUCTION Madani Institute (registration no W) was registered in Dec Al Madani In Arabic derive from root word mudun, madain, madaana which means civilized, urban, noble or righteous character. Therefore we aspire to develop total human development (modal insan) capital, good corporate culture and systems. We believe the attitude to systemic thinking is the way forward, as compared to compartmental or segmented thinking. Religion in Islam is a system of life (nuzum al-hayat), thus to think, perceive or attitude towards system of life (al-islam) should be wholesome and holistic. It is both divinely ordained (Syariatullah) and man s jurisdiction (Sunnatullah). In al-quran verse from surah al-baqarah: 28; O ye who believe enter into (Islam) submission one and all (whole heartedly), and do not follow footsteps of syaitan (evil one), surely he (evil one) is your enemy. Tafsir Ibnu Kathier narrated submission one and all means perceive or act upon it holistically (wholesome) and truly (sahih). Thus the concept of Islam as a system of life (nuzum al hayat) needs to be perceived and acted upon it in a coordinated systemic manner (syumulliyah), holistic or orderly as a whole and not in compartmental, isolated or disarray. An act of disarray in itself is closely associated to evil deeds. As narrated by Sheikh Yusuff alqardawi al syumuliyyah (systemic and orderly) is one of the characteristic of Islamic religion (Fazrul, 2011). -1-

These component parts, or elements, of the system are intimately linked with one another, either directly or indirectly, and any change in one or more elements may affect the overall performance or the system, either beneficially or adversely. While Sheikh Muhammad Izuddin Taufiq (1998) in his thesis in arabic dalil al-anfus baina al-quran wal hadith states that Quranic approach curriculum in system thinking focus on three category fitrah or spiritual values compatible to its nature (fitrah), aql cognitive, intelligent or believe base on fitrah, and amali physical and emotional deeds (Fazrul, 2011). 4 HISTORY OF ORGANISATION Madani Institute Madani Institute was founded by Mohd Jakfar b Hj Embek (PGC & M.A Muslim Community Studies, UK) upon consultation with Fazrul Fahmee b Ismail (B.A Chemical Engineer, Purdue Univ, US, Arabic Language, Cairo & Certified Life Coach Trainer, Spencer Institute, CA, US). Madani Institute is the marketing synergy partner of Akademi Sinergi Ikhlas covering southern regional area of Singapore, Malaysian southern states (Johore, Malacca & Negeri Sembilan), Brunei Darussalam and Australia pacific region. Trust of Madani Institute are: a) To develop local trainers and life coaches from asatizah fraternity or who are competent in Malay, English and Arabic and able to connect with source from Revelation. b) To research and develop local training modules base on al Quran, Hadith 40 Imam Nawawi or Usul ad Da wah as tools in total human development (modal insan). c) To research and encourage new learning approach through experiencial and interactive learning.
