We choose our Messenger, the most effective Will of this Sacrifice to be - the Flame of the Divine Will in us, who should invoke the descent of the Divine powers into us, for He is the knower of All in this Creation! The Fire is kindled perfectly by the Fire, for He is the Seer, the Master and the inhabitant of the house, always Young, Bearing our Call and Offering, whose mouth receives the offering-calls. Note:
5 5 It is interesting to notice here that the words derived from the roots hu / hve, juhoti, hvayati, huvate, have many similar derivations in the Vedic Sanskrit, and the same accociation in meaning: calling and offering; hotç, for instance as a meaning of an offerer of an oblation or burnt-offering (with fire) from root hu, and a sacrificer, priest, (esp.) a priest who at a sacrifice invokes the gods, from root hve.
