2 About the Camping Manali Trekking & Adventure Camping is being run under Project Sparsh, an initiative by Invincible - The Student run NGO Invincible organizes these series of camps amongst the beautiful Himalayan mountains for summer months, where young participants explore rich valleys and tall mountains in search of adventure...! The vision behind this camping is to aware youth about Himalayas & its natural beauty to spread adventure in young blood to explore heritage and mountain lifestyle through trekking in forests near Manali, Himachal Pradesh Places to visit Pathankot & Amritsar (Jaliyanwala Baug, Golden Temple & Wagha Border) Manali, Vashisth, Naggar & Nearby Area 2

3 Proposed itinerary The proposed schedule is subject to change as per the unforeseen conditions/natural calamities. Day 1: Departure from Ahmedabad, overnight train journey Day 2: Arrival at Pathankot, departure for Manali by bus Day 3: Arrival at Manali campsite, Free day for acclimatization & Rappelling in evening Day 4: Travel to Rumsu Village and trek to Chedu Patthar, night halt Day 5: Trek to Chanderkhani (11500 ft) and back to Chedu Patthar camp, night halt Day 6: Trek to Rumsu and travel back to Manali, River Rafting Day 7: Free day for site seeing in Manali, Departure for Amritsar after Dinner Day 8: Visit Amritsar & Wagha Border, back to Pathankot in evening Day 9: Departure for Ahmedabad Day 10: Arrival at Ahmedabad In case of bad weather, the schedule would change and the option trek is Bhrigu lake trek near Gulaba, which will fit in the above-mentioned schedule with changed route during day 4 to day 6. 3

4 How to register? Online Application The application can be done online on Invincible NGO s website: Fees Payment The application is confirmed on receipt of fees payment only. There are 2 ways of fees payment: 1. Online Fees Payment by clicking the Pay Online Button on website 2. Pay at Office in Cash or Cheque If paid through cheque, please ensure it would be an A/C payee cheque in favour of Invincible. The fees will be accepted only with the online application Participation ID. If registered online & not paid the fees before the batch gets full, online application will be automatically cancelled. Note: If paid online, convenience fees + service tax is applicable. i.e. around 2.3% 4

5 Fees, Inclusion & Exclusion The fees structure is based on the 2 different modes of camping. Package Type Fees The fees includes*: Ahmedabad to Ahmedabad 8,000/- Ahmedabad to Ahmedabad (AC 3T) 10,000/- Pathankot to Pathankot 5,650/- Manali to Manali 3,950/- Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner (Gujarati, Jain & Swaminarayan food available) Accommodation in tents (4 or 6 sharing tents) Activities: Trekking, Rock Climbing, Rappelling, Team games, Campfire Trained Instructors & Guides, First Aid support Travel, as per the above table, Forest entry fees Note: Alcohol, Smoking & Drugs are strictly banned and if any participant is found with these, cancellation will be done and no refund/return ticket will be paid. 5

6 Group Booking/Special Camping Special batch can be arranged for school/college groups. The participation fees will be same for such batches and minimum of 30 students/participants are expected. In such cases, individual application is optional on our website. Cancellation & Refund On receipt of an application for cancellation, cancellation will be granted by the Project Manager.
