4 PRESIDENT S MESSAGE Dear Brothers, Sisters and loving young friends, Jai Shree Ram! Once again, I would like to thank everyone for actively participating in all the programs organized by the Mandir. It gives me great pleasure to see that our community is taking keen interest in all the activities, festivals, celebrations, regular congregations, and also coming forward to offer voluntary services in various fields of interest. Holi one of the most vibrant and colorful festivals of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy this month. It was a pleasure to see all the smiling faces of our Parivar, dressed in colorful attires, singing and dancing with joy on this occasion. As always has been the tradition of HOM, to play safe and pious Holi with Flowers, this year too, devotees came in with multi-colored Bouquets to share blessings and joy with Family, Friends and above all with Lord Krishna & Radha Rani. People showered flowers on each other and also offered them at the lotus feet of their beloved Lord. This year, to add to the spirit of the Festival, all the devotees were also greeted at the entrance by two cheerful ladies Indu Wadhwa & Meera Chander with Happy Holi and a colorful Gulal Tilak on the forehead!!! Rama Kapur and her Bhajan Mandli took charge of the melodious Holi Songs and transported everyone to Vrindavan, Brij Dham, and Barsana in India. My thanks to the Food Sponsors on Holi Singla, Goyal & Garg Families, who made special Prasad arrangements for a huge gathering that day. Everybody relished the Bhatura-Chanas!!! Sunday Congregation also enjoyed the mesmerizing bhajans sung by Pratibha Jairath and Raju Bankapur two well-known names of Chicagoland. They involved the Devotees also to sing along with them, popular Bhajans from films and everybody was seen to be giving in their little contribution into the Mahayagya of Bhajans.
