Date : INVITATION FOR SHORT TERM TENDERS (Only Through e-procurement) Cleaning, Collection & Transportation of Municipal Solid Waste Bommanahalli Zone, Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) in accordance with Karnataka Transparency in Public Procurement Act 1999, and Rules (Amendments) 2000, invites detailed proposals under single stage two cover system for the following activities for a period of 6 months from the date of issue of Work Order through e Procurement process by the e-procurement registered contractors. a. Door-to-Door collection of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) in the Bommanahalli Zone and its transportation to designated locations b. Collection of MSW from designated locations and transportation to the transit segregation point and / or landfill site. c. Collection of MSW from the bulk generators of MSW in the Bommanahalli Zone and its transportation to the transit segregation point and / or landfill site. d. Sweeping & Drain Cleaning twice daily of all Main Roads, all Commercial Roads, Sweeping & Drain cleaning of all other roads thrice in a weak depending upon creation of Health block. & quantum of generation of solid waste, shifting of Solid Waste from designated locations and transportation to the transit segregation point and / or landfill site. e. Cleaning of Burial Grounds, vacant plots, and other Public Places periodically as prescribed through gang work & Shifting of Solid Waste from designated locations and transportation to the transit segregation point and / or landfill site as and when instructed by BBMP. f. Clearing of Debris and Building material wastes on roads, Footpaths, & roads side drains Shifting of Waste from these designated locations and transportation to the transit segregation point and / or landfill site as and when instructed by BBMP. g. Removal and cleaning of Vegetation on Road side, Shifting of Waste from these designated locations and transportation to the transit segregation point and / or landfill site. h. Removal of banners, buntings, Posters on road side, private and public properties and Transportation to Designated place as and when instructed by BBMP. i. Cleaning of covered drains, Shifting of Solid Waste / cleaned silt from designated locations and transportation to the transit segregation point and / or landfill site. j The labours engaged for sweeping & other works in Health blocks will be used for gang work after they complete the sweeping work for the remaining time in 8 hours a day.

BBMP/SE/BOM/MSW/1-16 / , Dated: No Joint Venture/Consortium is permissible. 2. Conditional Tenders will not be accepted. 3. The Contractor has to make own arrangements for procurement of all materials required for the work. There is no departmental supply of materials. Contractor should procure materials with BIS or other relevant standards & obtain necessary quality control certificates from authorized quality control authority. 4. Wherever BBMP, Provides containers & Dumper placer vehicles for transportation of MSW appropriate cost of transportation will be deducted. 5. Sub-letting of work is prohibited. 6. Any Corrigendum/Modification will be notified in the Notice Board of the undersigned and e-procurement portal. 7. Necessary Taxes and other deductions will be made from contractors Bills 8. The successful bidder will have to execute an agreement with BBMP failing which his tender is liable to be rejected & EMD will be forfeited & will be blacklisted for a period of 5 years. 9. The work should be commenced with all earnestness as notified in the table above failing which it would be presumed that he is not interested in the work and action will be taken to get the work executed through alternate agency at the risk and cost of the tender.

6 10. The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike reserves the right to accept/reject any or the entire tender s without assigning any reasons. 11. The requisite EMD as mentioned in column 4 of the above table should be paid in the form of e-payment as mentioned in e-procurement Portal. If the Bidder fails to upload the EMD details before closing date, his Tender will be disqualified. Regarding the Validity of Bid Security (EMD), Tender Conditions etc., PWG-66 & SBD shall be referred and the same is binding on the Tenderer. 12. The Successful Bidder will have to execute an agreement with the undersigned within 7 days of the receipt of intimation, failing which his tender will be rejected. 13. The Work should be commenced with all earnestness with in 7 days from the date of Work Order, failing which it would be presumed that he is not interested in the work and action will be taken to get the work executed through alternate agency at the risk and cost of the former Tender as per PWG 66 & SBD 14. The Tender Document is accessible on web-site - & the same can be downloaded with out any cost. 15. Any other details regarding the above mentioned works & other information may be obtained from the above Office during Office hours. 16. Eligibility Criteria: a. Tenderers need to satisfy pre-qualifying requirements, technical and financial in full through necessary supportive documents and only such tender will be considered for further evaluation. b. The Tenderer must be an eligible Contractor as per terms and conditions stated in RFP Document. c. Before closing date of the bid, the Bidders should upload the EMD details and other related documents to the e-procurement portal and attested copy / original for verification should be submitted on the date of opening of technical bid to the undersigned. Otherwise Tenders will be rejected. 17. The tenders shall be strictly as per the formats and terms and conditions specified in the tender documents. Lump sum tenders will not be considered. Separate tenders shall be submitted for each work. 18. The tenders will be opened on the due date and time as per time schedule, indicated in the e- Procurement Portal 19. Deadline for Uploading of tender Tenders must be uploaded at the website address specified as mentioned in the e-procurement portal. BBMP at its discretion may review the various terms and conditions of tender and extend the deadline for submission of tenders by issuing a corrigendum, in which case all rights and obligations of the BBMP and the Tenderers mentioned for the original deadline will then be as well applicable to the new deadline. Tenders will not be accepted after the time fixed for receipt of bids. 20. Quantities of work: The tenderer has to submit the tender as per quantities indicated in RFP Document only. However, the tenderer has to make his pre-bid survey for complete verification of quantities and site condition before submitting the tender. 21. Pre-bid meeting: For details refer e-procurement Portal. For any clarification on the terms and conditions of the tender/contract, the tenderers have to submit the same to the Superintending Engineer, BBMP, Bommanahalli Zone, Bangalore in writing within the last date fixed to receive pre-bid queries so as to enable the BBMP to discuss in the pre-bid meeting.
