2 (Affiliated to Shivaji University Kolhapur) 2015 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT : In the history of Maratha period Prataorao Gujar s ability and work had a lot of importanance. Military work, important battles, his memorials at the Bhosari, Umarani and Nesari etc are very spiritual. His all work s has been giving the spirit in making the Swaraj. Need the study of warrior Prataprao Gujar on National level. Above information is main role of this study. SUMMARY OF THE FINDINGS The study of the present project is completed by visiting to Mumbai, Pune, Satara, Kolhapur, Nagpur, Nasik, Solapur, Ratanagiri, etc. libraries and Museums and also the visited to Prataprao Gujars memorials of Nasari. Umrani etc. and collects the various books, reports, Journals, News Papers etc and received the information about the work and deeds of Prataprao Gujar. In the present project I have provided the information about the Prataprao Gujars life, dynasty, military life, victories in the wars etc. Prataprao Gujar completed his responsibility perfectly so Chh. Shivaji Maharaj was very happy and satisfied on his work. Chh. Shivaji liked the excellent military work of Prataprao Gujar so Chh. Shivaji offered him the post of shiledari in military. After getting this post he won many wars, In the Haveli, Bhalaghat, Oaus, Udgir, Vdagiri, Bhaganagar, Parinda etc. For this work Chh. Shivaji postponed him on the post of Sarsenapati of Swaraj. After taking this responsibility he won the Swalheir war against the Mughal. In whole Hindustan this war is very important. Prataprao Gujar gave the fight to the Daulatkhan and Ikhalaskhan and defeated to them On 17 th 1670 in Dindorihe fights with them in the presense of Chh. Shivaji Maharaj In January 1670 did attack on Ladache karanje and to rob it. In the battle of Umarani he got victory and in the battle of Nesari he was died. ACHIEVEMENTS FROM THE PROJECT: Work on funded project mainly results in following three achievements

1. Research project is going to give the information about the Prataprao Gujar and Chh.Shivaji Maharaj. Prataprao Gujar played very important role to won the battle under the guidance of Chh.

In the memory of Prataprao Gujar, the statues are built in Nasari, Umarani Bhosare. The people are praising about the Prataprao Gujars work.

3 1. Research project is going to give the information about the Prataprao Gujar and Chh.Shivaji Maharaj. Prataprao Gujar played very important role to won the battle under the guidance of Chh.Shivaji Maharaj. The project has include the important information about Prataprao Gujar as sarsenapati. The victory of various battles and administration shows the role of Prataprao Gujar. 2. In the memory of Prataprao Gujar, the statues are built in Nasari, Umarani Bhosare. The people are praising about the Prataprao Gujars work. From the present research we learn that, how and what kind of love was there about Nation in their life for the state, what is the contribution of this man is highlighted in the project. The creation of Swaraj and its safety is also very important. 3. From the history use should take so many things which will provide the strength. We should work our Nation strong and powerful from the all angle. But to happen this in the future, the next generation should know the history at least. We have to the target of the present work. The project has a lot of importance because it is going to help to the next generation in the research area.
