3 Significance of the Retreat The purpose of all Devic Retreats is to spend time being in the awareness of your true Self, away from distractions of day to day life. And this is easy in nature as it is filled with the presence of the Devas. This is also the reason why the rishis and masters in ancient times did tapas (penance) in jungles and caves. The Eternal SAT is the self-aware, unchanging, self-luminous, selfsufficient, Completeness or ONENESS called The SELF! Suddenly (due to a sudden inner impulse or desire within) the SELF appears as Cosmic Consciousness. We can call it SHAKTI or Cosmic 1 Consciousness, or moving AWARENESS, the AUM SOUND or PARA BINDU, TRIPURA or DIVINE MOTHER or simply Divine Unconditional LOVE ENERGY Johnima & Kalasu In this retreat, the prime focus is to explore the Shakti. The silence of the deep jungle is perfect to anchor yourself in the awareness of the Divine Feminine. It is an opportunity to familiarize yourself more with your unconditional love and nurturing qualities, which are reflections of the Devi Self.

You will not be the same again. About Mudumalai Mudumalai forest area is in the Nilgiri district in Tamil Nadu. It is majorly known for its biodiversity and wildlife. Lush green forest, inhabited by a wide array of flora and fauna species, stunning tall waterfalls, gushing rivers, animals sightings, and picture-perfect landscapes make Mudumalai a nature heaven.

7 Retreat Essentials For Daily Use Wear loose and comfortable clothing Carry mosquito repellants Carry personal use items Carry personal medication if you use any For Deep Jungle Trek Wear sober color clothes such as grey, brown, olive green, etc. as dark and bright colors draw attention of animals. Women can carry track pants for the trek, as that will be more comfortable than a salwar suit/saree Avoid heavy perfume and 5 colognes to avoid drawing attention of animals. Wear sun glasses and apply mosquito repellent cream Wear trekking/walking shoes. Slippers cannot be worn in deep jungle Carry water For Waterfall Visit Carry polyester, nylon, lycra or similar material clothing which would keep you comfortable in water Preferable to wear full length tracks.

8 Getting to the Resort Please plan to reach the resort before 17:00 hrs on February 8 th, Routes 1) Bangalore to Whispering willows (253km) 2) Mysore to Whispering willows (104km) 3) Coimbatore to Whispering willows (134km) 4) Calicut to Whispering willows (117km) Mode of Transport Flight, Train and Cab Flights to Calicut, Mysore, Coimbatore and Bangalore are available. From Calicut, Mysore and Coimbatore cabs can be taken to reach the resort. From Bangalore a train can be taken to Mysore and from there a cab or a direct cab to the resort can be taken Bus Buses operated by Karnataka State 6 Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) and private operators can be taken from Bangalore to Gudalur. From Gudalur, the resort is 16km. A cab can be taken from Gudalur to the Resort. Note: If you wish to join us from Bangalore, please contact Arvind our Assistant Manager.
