Fish Hatchery Road, Fitchburg, WI (A Non-Profit Organization ~ Tax ID: ) Pranapratishtha & Kumbhabishekam Program Preparatory Program: July 21 st, July 22 nd and September 1 st Main Program: September 8 th, 9 th and 10 th. Document Date: August

2 Deity Preparation Pujas Prior to Pranapratistha Adhivasams: Special Abishekams performed for the Vigrahas to infuse cosmic energy through rituals described in our scriptures. As ritual part of the Pranaprathishta, all the Adhivasams are performed to induce cosmic energy to the Vigrahas. The Vigrahas are infused with tremendous cosmic power through performance of Pranaprathishta. Worship of manifestation of the divine in the form of Vigrahas enables us to fulfill our wishes and achieve peace. Time and Location Puja Detail Dhanyadhivasam: The (granite) deities are immersed in Danyams (grains). Puja starts 6:00pm July 21 st 10:00am (Complete) Dhanyaadhivasam is done prior to Maha Samprokshanam. During Dhanyaadhivasam, the deities will be completely immersed in Dhanyams (Grains). The Lord is saluted through this ritual as "VISHWA-BHUK", the protector of the Universe. The essence of the mantras recited at this time is that, the Lord is recognized as the Controller, Master and Consumer of the entire Universe and pray to him for his satisfaction with the offering of Annam or Dhanyam. It states that the food is a form of nectar and is offered to the Lord as a form of complete surrender unto HIM. All Devotees will be allowed to participate in pouring the grains. This Puja ceremony is specially dedicated to all of the AHA Community who have donated or contributed to AHA s growth since its inception in AHA Management Board Directors and Trustees extends a special invitation to all Dollar-A-Day participants, Building Fund and general contributors, past and present Board, Trustees and Executive Committee Members, teachers and participants of Balagokulum and Bala Vihar programs, volunteers and Anna Dhatta sponsors to all participate in this inaugural ceremony to mark the start of the official Pranapratistha program. We thank you all for your great support for the organization over the years and look forward to the same in coming years. Sponsor recognition will be made at the event, and detailed schedule of the Pranapratistha program will be given to all attendees. July 22 nd 10:30am (Complete) Jaladhivasam: The (granite) deities are immersed in water in a reclining (sleeping) position. Puja starts at 10:00am. Muhurath: 10:30-11:00am. The deities are completely or partially immersed in water in a reclining position. This is done to emphasize centrality of water in the Vedas. Water is the essence of Jyothi or Light. The essence of mantras chanted during this ritual is that, all entities including vital air, animals and food are a form of water. Water shines brilliantly by itself and cannot be ruled over by any other entity. Truth is also considered as a form of water. All of the above facts help us to understand the significance of this ritual. Sept 1st 11:00am Sept 1 st Ksheeradhivasam: The deities are immersed in / showered with milk. Puja Starts 11:00am Pushpadhivsam: The deities are immersed in flowers. {can be done on Sunday Sept 9 th as part of other rituals as well}
