2 THEME The Centenary Year ( ) of the Mahasamadhi (15th October 1918) of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba is being celebrated by innumerable number of Temples and Organisations, created in his name by the devotees and followers in India and abroad. The occasion should be utilised to create a global consciousness and communication network among the Shirdi Sai Baba Temples and Organisations, with a view to carryout different philanthropic activities in a cooperative manner. Most of the available resources, time and energy should be dedicated towards rendering humanitarian support during natural calamities and other activities, particularly, in the elds of health, education, services to the poor, in rm, destitute children and women sections of the society. This is what Shirdi Sai Baba stood for and Shirdi Sai Global Foundation and associated trusts are committed to. A few events propagating the philosophy and deeds of Shirdi Sai Baba would be organized in a ceremonious way by different trusts at a few select places across the globe in this landmark centenary year and patronage of Revered Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy. THE EVENT Celebrating the commencement of centenary year of Sai Baba's Mahasamadhi, an epic event was organized on 15th October 2017 at Sirifort Auditorium, New Delhi and this one is the second such event. This event showcases the life and messages of Shirdi Sai Baba and will be attended by large number of trustees, devotees and others from USA, Canada, UK, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, South Africa and different corners of India. The two-day event is split into three exclusive sessions.

Its motto is to adhere to the Path of spiritualism shown by the 19th-20th century saint Shri Sai Baba of Shirdi and serve humanity. Under the inspiration and guidance of the Founder Chairman of the Foundation, Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy, various initiatives are carried out by the groups of like-minded volunteers, dedicated to the objectives and goals of the Foundation. The Foundation has also been providing leadership, guidance and assistance to a large numbers of organisations from India and abroad who share its vision and mission. Dr.Chandra Bhanu Satpathy Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy is a renowned scholar, philanthropist and spiritual thinker and well known for his immense contribution towards spreading Indian Culture and Philosophy, and his philanthropic deeds across the globe. He is an ardent devotee of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba and a great admirer of Swami Vivekanand. Under the inspiration and patronage of Dr. Satpathy, many forums and centres of spirituality and philanthropy have been set up across the globe. As a unique recognition of his role Dr. Satpathy was invited by the US House of Representatives, on June 24, 2015, as Guest Chaplain to offer the opening prayer. This is a unique honour, ever bestowed upon an Indian Citizen. Dr. Satpathy has chosen the medium of writing books, delivering speeches, encouraging Indian classical and devotional music and service to humanity for the propagation of Indian culture. Among the 30 books on Philosophy, Spirituality, Life and Teachings of Shirdi Sai Baba and other Saints of India, that he has authored, a few have been translated into nine Indian languages and international languages like German, Spanish, Slovenian, Nepali, English, which adds another 70 translated book titles to his credit. He is the Founder Patron of Shirdi Sai Global Foundation (Gurugram, Haryana) that has worked extensively in relief and rehabilitation during natural disasters helping thousands of affected families. He is the Patron and Guide of Swabhimaan (Odisha), a society dedicated for the welfare of the differently abled children and youth. He is the Founder Patron of Sukarya (Haryana), a recognized NGO working for the welfare of the underprivileged especially women and children. Large number of philanthropic, community development and spiritual centres were created by Dr. Satpathy across the country and abroad. Those centers are engaged in charitable and philanthropic activities like holding health camps and running charitable dispensaries, catering to the needs of a large number of people every year.
