4 PRESIDENT S MESSAGE Dear Brothers, Sisters and loving young friends, Jai Shree Ram! We are already half way thru in the year of 2018 and are looking forward to bright & sunny days, when we can spend some fun time with our Near & Dear ones. However, so far, Mother Nature has been cold on us, and we have yet to see the WARM & SUNNY days. We, at HOM, also try to plan Summer activities and events OUTDOORS so as to enjoy some quality time with our Friends & Families of the Hari Om Parivar. Like every year, this year also, we shall ALL be getting together on June 10 at Grove # 18, Busse Woods. I invite you all to come and enjoy the PICNIC.Food, Games, Raffle etc etc. Hopefully, the weather co-operates and we shall have a blast!!! Mothers Day Luncheon organized by the Mahila Satsang Group of HOM, held on May 9 th, was a GRAND SUCCESS! The Program was dedicated to the Memory of Mrs. Nirmal Bagga, and a humble tribute to her efforts in starting this program a few years ago. Indeed, I must congratulate the Secretary, Manisha Garg & her team of dedicated workers who put up a wonderful entertaining variety program to celebrate Motherhood. On Mothers Day, May 13, Kids of the Hindi Class came forward to speak, recite poems and express their love & gratitude for their Mothers. Menu with her accomplices from Rainbow Orchestra Group presented some nice Bhajans & Songs in honor of Moms. HOM Management Team also gave Beautiful Scarves to all the ladies in the Congregation, as a token of Love & Honor. As you all know, Fathers Day is coming up on June 17. We shall be celebrating in honor of all the Dads, a Gala Evening of FAMILY FUN on Sat, June 16 th in the Temple Basement Hall. I invite you all to join us for a fun-filled Evening of Entertainment and great Food. All the Members of my Team are super excited and already planning/preparing for this Program not to be missed! As always, it is my appeal to all the Devotees, to attend the Weekly congregations & Special programs in a timely manner and seek His Blessings.
