We are pleased to put forward this report for the third quarter of the financial year The quarter was full of events & various networking activities. We participated in India s largest agri-expo reaching out to more than 20,000 persons mainly from agro-community all over India! Samavedana is now looking towards completion of 10 years of existence in April Different themes are under consideration to celebrate the same. Your valuable inputs are most welcome! We helped 30 patients in this quarter, amount of help Rs.17,30,209. Total 59 new donors joined Samavedana, raised Rs. 16,39,088. We had organized 3 health check up camps during the quarter, benefiting 116 women. Upcoming events: We are very glad to inform you that Samavedana is entering new horizons in this quarter. 1. Inauguration of Skin Bank: Sahyadri Hospitals is starting Pune s 1 st & India s 5 th SKIN BANK at Surya Hospital, one of its affiliates. It will be inaugurated on Feb. 13 th, Samavedana is a Promotion Partner for the Skin Bank. 2. Participation In NGO India 2012 : NGO India 2012 is India s 1 st expo, held exclusively for NGOs. It will be held at Gurgaon, Haryana between 16 & 18 March It will mainly welcome Corporates, NGOs from all over India & abroad & Government Officials. The objective is to network with different NGOs & reaching to corporate world.
