1 MINISTRY INFORMATION CHILDREN S MINISTRY SILENT PAGING: We have a digital silent paging system for our parents. If your child gets sick or needs immediate attention from you during the service, your coupon number will be flashed on the display monitors located in both front corners and rear of the Main Sanctuary, on the left hand corner of the Multi-Purpose Room, and on the left hand corner of the Overflow Room. Please respond to the silent page as soon as you notice your child s coupon number. HEARING DEVICES: If you have a hearing impairment and need assistance with hearing during the services, we have hearing devices that are available at the Welcome Center to check out and use during the service. These hearing devices are available with head phones or ear buds and can be used anywhere in the sanctuary. SERVANT S HEART: Our desire is to pray for and comfort the afflicted, and to provide spiritual guidance from the Word of God through hospital and home visitations. Please call the Church Office at (310) to schedule a visitation or leave a prayer request. BIBLICAL INSTRUCTION: The Biblical Instruction Ministry (Christian Counseling) is available for those who desire to seek a biblical viewpoint and direction to their lives. The pastoral staff of Calvary Chapel South Bay is available Monday Friday from 10:00 AM 4:30 PM. Please call the Church Office to schedule a session with a pastor. MEDIA: Audio and video recordings are made of all main services. Our services are designed primarily for adults, so we ask that you would take your children to the classes offered in the Children s Ministry. Children ten years and older are permitted in the Main Sanctuary and Multi-Purpose Room when accompanied by a parent. We hope to adequately minister to you and your children on a personal level. 6 ANNOUNCEMENTS Christmas In THE LOFT Throughout the month of December, it s Christmas in THE LOFT. All 6th - 8th grade students are invited to join us as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior! Events include Mall Madness, Movie Night, Christmas Bash and more! Students will have fun making new friends and experiencing the true joy of Christmas! Once again CCSB is partnering with California Highway Patrol in their CHiPs for Kids Toy Drive. We will be collecting toys for children that may not have gifts for Christmas. If you would like to bless a child this Christmas, donate a brand new unwrapped toy and drop it off in the CHiPs for Kids toy barrels in the foyer, church office or kids courtyard. (Doors open 45 minutes prior to the start of the program.) This year we will have a special Christmas program that you won t want to miss. There will be two showings of the program. Christ Is Born - A Christmas Experience is a wonderful event for all ages. Invite your unsaved family and friends to this powerful, immersive experience as we remember Christ s birth through scripture, music and visual art. Immediately following the program, please join us in the Kids Courtyard for a time of fellowship and refreshments. Ages four years and up are welcome in the main sanctuary. Join us for our Christmas Celebration! It will be a festive and fun Christmas event for the whole family! There will be fire pits to warm yourself by as you toast marshmallows and hot beverages and Christmas cookies will be served in the Kids Courtyard. We will also have a snow play area in the Patio for the kids to frolic in. Invite your family and friends and enjoy a day of Christmas cheer as we look forward to the advent of our Lord and Savior s birth. It will be a joyous occasion! Immediately following the festivities, join us in the main sanctuary at 3:00 PM for the second showing of our Christmas program, Christ Is Born - A Christmas Experience. This is a community outreach event, so please invite your unsaved family and friends. Our prayer is that many will come to know Jesus this Christmas season. CCSB Clippers Night Wednesday, January 17th, 6:00 PM, Staples Center. Join us for our CCSB Clippers Night as we watch the Clippers vs. Denver Nuggets game. The night includes worship and a short Bible study by Pastor Jeff one hour before the game and early access to the pre-game warm up. Tickets are on sale today between morning services outside the foyer and available online at ccsouthbay.org. Ticket purchases are final (no refunds available).
