1 The Door keepers watch Mark 13/34- The signs that happen the day Jesus takes His church from the earth or the first door. For this study in the word the New King James version of the Bible was used. Here s a question that has been on the minds of Christians for the last two thousand years, even the apostles in Matthew 24 asked Jesus what would be the sign of Your coming and the end of the age? Most people don t realize it but our Lord Jesus did answer that question. So if you want to know what will be the sign of the coming of our Lord Jesus please read on. Jesus has given us the signs that will take place on the day He comes for His church. So we will know hours in advance of our being removed from the earth and taken into the Fathers house. We can t know the day ahead of time and we can t know the exact hour of our departure on that day. When the day of our departure is upon us if we are watching for the signs we will know hours in advance of our being taken up into the Father s house or the New Jerusalem. In Matthew 25 Jesus tells us what it will be like when He returns and takes His church out of this world and into the Fathers house. First let s read Matthew 25/1-13, 1 Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Now five of them were wise, and five of them were foolish.3 Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, 4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.6 And at midnight a cry was heard: Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him! 7 Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said to the wise, Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out. 9 But the wise answered, saying, No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves. 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. 11 Afterward the other virgins came also, saying Lord, Lord, open to us! 12 But he answered and said, Assuredly, I say to you, I do not Know you. 13 Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming. Jesus tells us that when He comes to take His bride into heaven she would be as ten virgins, five wise, five not so wise. He goes on to say that the five wise virgins carried oil in their vessels or they were filled with the Holy Spirit. The lamp s in Matthew 25/1-4 speaks of the eyes of the ten virgins. Jesus told us in Matthew 6/22 that the lamp of the body is the eye. The wise virgins who took oil in their vessels or those who were filled with the Holy Spirit, they will see with their eyes a door open in the heavens above. This open door ready to receive the bride of Christ in the heavens above will be seen by all who are about to leave the earth and enter into the Fathers house. This is just what Lord Jesus commanded the church of Philadelphia in the Revelation 3/8 See, I have set before you an open door, with the comma after See the statement becomes a command to see the open door He speaks of. The five foolish virgins who were not filled with the Holy Spirit those that took no oil in their vessels. They will look up and try to see the open door that the wise virgins can see and won t be able to see anything. Thus they realize immediately they are in trouble and cry out to the wise virgins to give too them the Holy Spirit because their lamps are going out or they can t see the open door that the wise virgins can see. This is not the first sign that will tell us the Lord Jesus is coming for His church but one of four.

2 In Matthew 25/5 Jesus says something very, very important, He says that He is delayed the day He comes for His church. There is only one delay that happens before Jesus takes His church out of this world and it happens right after the tribulation period starts and lasts for about three to twelve hours give or take a few hours. The first trumpet of the tribulation period is sounded at the beginning of the first year of the tribulation period. When it is sounded hail and fire mingled with blood are thrown to the earth and a third of the earth s trees are burned up and all the green grass is burned up. Let s read Revelation 8/7- The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up. The reason I mention what happens at the beginning of the tribulation period is because Jesus talked about it right before He went to the cross two thousand years ago. In Luke 12/49-50 Jesus said 49 I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! 50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how distressed I am till it is accomplished! Two thousand years ago when our Lord was about to go to the cross for our sins He spoke longingly about the day He would receive His church into His Father s house starting the seven years of the Lords wedding celebration. At the same time Jesus removes His church from the earth He will also cast down hail and fire mingled with blood upon the earth starting the devastation of the tribulation period. Ok now it s time to see about the delay our Lord Jesus spoke of. In Revelation 7/1-4, God places this scripture so it looks like something that happens well into the sixth or seventh year of the tribulation period, not so for John ends his description of a time late in the tribulation period and starts into a new vision that describes a time moments after the start of the tribulation period. Starting in Rev. 7/ 1-4, 1 After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea or on any tree. 2 Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, 3 saying, Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads. 4 And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty- four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed. This is the delay of the bridegroom. The angel ascending in the east tells the four angels who are already holding the wind from blowing on the earth to wait until he has finished sealing the 144,000, delaying the four angels from harming the earth with the hail and fire mingled with blood. This is the delay of the bridegroom that our Lord Jesus spoke of in Matthew 25/5. As soon as the 144,000 are sealed the delay of the bridegroom is over, then Jesus will take His church out of this world and into the Fathers house. Right after the church is taken into the Fathers house Jesus will cast down hail and fire mingled with blood upon the earth, starting the devastation of the tribulation period. In Revelation 14/4 John tells us that the 144,000 are first fruits to God and the Lamb. This means the tribulation period has already started for the 144,000 can t be first fruits of the church age, they can only be first fruits of the tribulation period. That means the church enters into the tribulation period for three to twelve hours while the 144,000 are being sealed in Israel. This might not mean much to you at first but at the start of each year of the tribulation period a massively loud trumpet is sounded all around the world by God. So one of the signs and the first of the signs that the Lord is about to remove His church from the earth is the sounding of the first trumpet signaling the beginning of the first year of the tribulation period. The second sign is the wind all around the world will stop blowing. Remember the four angels are already holding back the wind from blowing on the earth

3 when the angel rising in the east delays the four angels from harming the earth until all the 144,000 are sealed. Also remember the 144,000 are first fruits of this time period being the first group of people to be born again right at the beginning of the tribulation period the very first day. The third sign is the parable of the fig tree, Jesus told us to learn the meaning of this parable. In Matthew 24/32-34 yes it s time to read those passages Matthew 24/32 Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know summer is near. 33 So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near at the doors! 34 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Jesus tells us to learn a parable from the fig tree. Here is the proper interpretation of the parable of the fig tree. The fig tree represents the people of Israel not the national boundaries or the land or when Israel became a nation again- just the people. The branch of the fig tree that becomes tender and puts forth leaves represents the 144,000 male virgins who are marked on their foreheads by the angel ascending in the east and Elijah. The angel who rises in the east delays the hail and fire mingled with blood from being thrown to the earth until all of the 144,000 are sealed for God. As soon as the 144,000 become born again believers in Jesus, from Gods point of view they become spiritually alive or the one branch of the fig tree that lives. Take note that the branch of the fig tree has only had time to put forth leaves and not enough time to bear fruit yet. Also note that Jesus says doors plural, this will be hard for some to take but there is more than one door. The fourth sign is the wise virgins who can see the open door in the heavens above. All the people who will be leaving the earth that day and entering into the Lords wedding celebration will be able to see the open door in the heavens above. Those who will be left behind will look up and see nothing they will cry out in dismay to the wise virgins give us some of the Holy Spirit. The wise virgins will tell the foolish to go to the Father who gives the Holy Spirit to those who ask. While the foolish virgins go to be filled with the Holy Spirit the bridegroom comes and those who are ready enter into the wedding and then the first door shuts. So the first trumpet of the tribulation period will sound, second the wind on the earth will stop blowing all around the world third look to Israel as the 144,000 start to evangelize the people in Israel for our Lord Jesus. The cry that goes out at midnight in Matthew 25/6 will come from the 144,000 as they start their witness in Israel. If you have noticed the first two signs watch the clock for the Lord means what He says. The cry that goes out at midnight will come from the 144,000 in Israel according to the time in Israel, midnight their time. They will call to their soon departing Christian brothers and sisters the bridegroom is coming go out to meet him! Then the last sign will be the wise virgins who will be entering into the Fathers house the very first day of the tribulation period. The wise virgins will be the only people who can see the open door in the heavens above. The foolish virgins will look up and see nothing and realize they are not going to be among those who will be attending the first six years of the Lords wedding celebration. They will cry out in desperation to the wise virgins give to us the Holy Spirit! The foolish virgins know very little about God, only God the Father gives the Holy Spirit, to those who are born again of Jesus Christ and those who ask the Father for the Holy Spirit. Jesus in Luke 17/26-30 said 26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted; they built; 29 but on the day

4 that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed. Jesus gives us two pictures of how things will be when He returns for His church. Jesus says when Noah entered the ark then the flood came. This is a picture of the church being taken into the Fathers house, or the ark of the new covenant right as the tribulation period is starting. Then He goes on to tell us of the story of Lot, as soon as Lot was almost forcibly removed by the angels from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from the heavens destroying those who lived there. When the delay of the bridegroom ends then the church will be instantly removed from the earth. After the church is removed from the earth it will rain down hail and fire mingled with blood destroying a third of the earth s trees and all the green grass of the earth. Jesus is delayed from removing His church for a very good reason. In Malachi 4/5-6 it reads 5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD. 6 And he will turn The hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse. If Jesus removed His church prior to the sealing of the 144,000 God the Father would come and curse the earth finding no one on the earth who is born again in Jesus Christ. To avoid this problem the Father delays Lord Jesus from removing His church until all of the 144,000 are sealed for God. If the Father did not delay Lord Jesus from removing His church until the 144,000 are all sealed and born again in Jesus the start of the tribulation period would have been the end of the people of the earth. This is the curse spoken of in Malachi 4/6 Elijah comes first and with the help of the angel that rises in the east in Rev both the angel and Elijah seal the 144,000 male virgins in Jerusalem. Elijah turns the hearts of the fathers to their children, if you can imagine when all the young children and young men in Jerusalem become born again on fire Christians the parents will be beside themselves with grief over their good Jewish boys turning into Christians. The hearts of the children will be turned to their parents for the first people the 144,000 will want to turn to Christ will be their parents. When the hail and fire mingled with blood are cast down to the earth the first day of the tribulation period a third of the trees will be burned up and all the green grass of the earth will be burned up there will also be many people killed the first day but because the Father delayed LORD Jesus from taking His church out until the 144,000 are all sealed the curse God spoke of in Malachi is delayed for six years. The delay of the bridegroom, the sounding of the first trumpet the sealing of the 144,000, the wind stopping all around the world and the wise virgins who can see the open door, these are the signs that the first door is about to take place within hours Please don t call it the rapture, the term rapture was coined for lack of understanding call it by the name Lord Jesus called it, the door, in this case the first door. At the end of the delay, the first door opens and the church is removed from the earth and taken into the Fathers house. We can t know the day ahead of time or the exact hour of the first door on that day. You cannot say a year from now the first door will open for the church, but when the earth holds its breath and the wind stops blowing all around the world and you see and hear the other signs mentioned above if you are Watching you will know that our Lord Jesus is about to remove His church from this planet. If you are on the earth after all these signs and it starts to rain hail and fire mingled with blood you have missed the first door. Don t give up hope many millions if not billons of people will come to Jesus during the tribulation period. Give your heart to Lord Jesus and help others do the same. God will give you the help you need to overcome and for those who do overcome to them it is given to become children of God.

5 In Matthew 25 Jesus gives us a picture of how quickly the people catch on to the signs of His second coming. He says Matthew 25/5-6 5 But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.6 And at midnight a cry was heard; Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him! The first sign the church will be given is the sounding of the first trumpet of the tribulation period. This trumpet blast will be heard all around the world yet the virgins will quickly resume their daily business thinking could that be the first trumpet? The next sign will be the complete cessation of the wind all around the world. Without the normal convective cooling of the wind the sun will quickly heat all things exposed to the sun much hotter than normal. This will work to enhance the coming fire storm that will soon destroy a third of the earth s trees and all the earth s green grass. It will take about three to four hours before people all around the world realize something strange is going on. The 144,000 will be starting their witness for Jesus in Israel then the 144,000 who are starting their six years of earthly evangelizing for our Lord Jesus will cry out at midnight Israel time, the bridegroom is coming go out to meet him! About this time the people who will be leaving the earth that day will start to look up and see the open door in the heavens above. Those who will be left behind will look up and be unable to see the open door. There will be perhaps a few more hours after the cry goes out at midnight before the delay of the bridegroom comes to an end then the church is taken up into the Fathers house. We can t know the day ahead of time or the hour when the delay of the bridegroom will end, it could be four hours or it could be eight hours give or take a few. Those who are watching will see and hear the 144,000 cry out the bridegroom is coming go out to meet him! Those who are ready will enter into the wedding and then the first door will shut. In Luke 12/49-50 Jesus says I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! 50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how distressed I am till it is accomplished! As soon as Jesus has His bride safe He will send fire on the earth as He said in Luke 12/49 but He will be delayed that day by the angel rising in the east as the 144,000 are sealed for God. Please watch for the day that the earth holds its breath and the wind stops blowing all around the world. Revelation 3/3 Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. If you are watching for our Lords return you will know the day when it is upon you, you won t know the hour though. We can only guess at how many hours it will take the angel in the east and Elijah to seal the 144,000.
