Passionate about proclaiming the love of Jesus, he worked for almost a year as a Bible worker at the East Ridge Seventh-day Adventist Church in Chattanooga TN, before moving north to serve in the Michigan Conference. When he isn t teaching or preaching, you might find Pr. Luke on a construction site, rock climbing or riding a dirt bike. He also loves hiking, singing and playing guitar with friends and family. He is overjoyed to be married to his best friend, Esther. Grateful for the love that God has given them, Pr. Luke and Esther plan to spend their lives proclaiming the beautiful message of salvation by faith in Jesus. Metro Midweek, Wednesdays at 7 pm: We are currently on a journey studying about what it means to Abide in Christ. Attention Ladies: Women s Ministries will be hosting a basic DIY Wood Sign Class on Nov 4 th, instructed by Mercy Paulraj. Refreshments will be served as you learn how to make a beautiful sign for your home or as a gift. Dr. Michael Hasel will be coming to Metro on November 3 rd. The main men's room is now under renovation and will be closed until completed. Men, we would ask that you please use the baptismal changing bathroom on the west hallway and the family restroom off the east side of the foyer. Once the women's baptismal changing restroom is completed, that will also be designated for men during the remodel. Thank you for being patient while we complete this process. Recently the St. Charles Church applied to the Lay Advisory Committee requesting funding from Michigan Advance Partners to help pave their parking lot. Their request was approved! Now with the assistance from MAP, they were able to have the new parking lot installed. The mud is gone and the church has a much nicer curb appeal as well, which makes it more enticing for visitors as well as members to join them. Without the MAP funds, it would have been a hardship on the small church congregation who are advanced in age and on a limited income. Please continue to support MAP through your offerings so other churches and schools can have the support they need for larger projects they otherwise could not afford. Thank you for your generation contributions! Praise the Lord! This morning we invite you to become a Michigan Advance Partner by dedicating 1% or more of your income to MAP.
