6 ANNOUNCEMENTS Immediately following the service, the congregation is invited to the Parlor for a time of fellowship and refreshments, hosted by the Early Learning Center. Cake, baked by Pat Cermak, will be served after the 9:30 and 11:00 services to celebrate Christmas in July. COTS Kids Playground Brunch is today at 10:15 a.m. on the rooftop playground. This is a great time to catch up with church friends or to casually meet new friends. All aged kids are welcome. We d love to see you there! We need your help to make SummerFest 2018 a success! Church members and friends are needed to provide intentional hospitality to our neighbors. Cookies can be store-bought or homemade. Purchased cookies have a longer shelf life. Please deliver them to the church office or to room 100 (across from the COTS Café) by August 12. Thank you! School Supply Collection: We are collecting school supplies to help the teachers in our congregation who work in Cleveland and East Cleveland. Suggested supplies include: #2 pencils, lined notebook paper, rulers, crayons, manila art paper, white art paper, 1.5 inch threering binders, glue sticks, pencil cases, highlighters, colored pencils, graph paper (1/4 ), spiral notebooks, pocket folders, #20 weight copy paper, multi-colored construction paper, and composition books. You may also write a check, payable to Church of the Saviour, with school supplies in the memo line, and we will do the shopping. Please bring the school supplies to church (room 122) by Sun., August 19. Are you interested in becoming a liturgist for the 11 a.m. church service several times a year? We have a wonderful group of readers who contribute in meaningful ways to the worship experience. Please contact Corinne Dunn, crdunn@sbcglobal.net, for more information. The International Student Ministry of InterVarsity is offering a training session at COTS to help us become better equipped as we seek to understand and befriend someone who is "different.
