The awards were presented by our new bishop, Bishop Duca, on Sunday August 26, The God is Love emblem was earned by Belle Camp, Annie Losavio, Cecilia McGuffey, Zoe Nizzo, and Emilia Wesley. The Family of God emblem was earned by Neala Thompson. The Light of Christ emblem was earned by Jake Friedland. The Parvuli Dei was earned by Benjamin Chiasson, Rex May, Timothy Namikas, and Jonathan Thompson. The program is offered by the Catholic Committee on Scouting. The RCIA process is open to: 1) Those seeking Baptism in the Catholic faith; 2) Those who were baptized in another Christian faith and who are interested in converting to Catholicism; 3) Adults already baptized as Catholics but never received the sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist or Confirmation. The RCIA process helps them to complete their initiation into the Catholic Church. If you know someone who may be interested in learning about our faith or possibly converting, invite them to inquire. There is no obligation. RCIA sessions will begin in September and are held on Wednesday nights in the Ministry Building.
