5 Golden Rule of Evangelism According to this passage, should Christians change or leave out parts of the Gospel Message that we don t feel comfortable with or like? Who is the source of the Gospel? Did the Apostles invent the Gospel?

In that case, all who have died believing in Christ are lost And if our hope in Christ is only for this life, we are more to be pitied than anyone in the world.

9 Golden Rule of Evangelism There are many ways/methods to evangelism. Evangelism is: communicating the Gospel. Evangelistic Methods communicate the Gospel but the are not the Gospel them selves. Example : The Four Spiritual Laws (Contain the Gospel) but they are not the Gospel.

13 Golden Rule of Evangelism 1Cr 9:19-23 NLT Even though I am a free man with no master, I have become a slave to all people to bring many to Christ. When I was with the Jews, I lived like a Jew to bring the Jews to Christ. When I was with those who follow the Jewish law, I too lived under that law. Even though I am not subject to the law, I did this so I could bring to Christ those who are under the law.

14 Golden Rule of Evangelism When I am with the Gentiles who do not follow the Jewish law, I too live apart from that law so I can bring them to Christ. But I do not ignore the law of God; I obey the law of Christ. When I am with those who are weak, I share their weakness, for I want to bring the weak to Christ. Yes, I try to find common ground with everyone, doing everything I can to save some. I do everything to spread the Good News and share in its blessings.

17 Golden Rule of Evangelism Imagine that Christianity is NOT TRUE. What information/evidence would you need to convert to some other religion or worldview? Atheism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Mormonism, Universalism/Relativism.

18 Golden Rule of Evangelism The Golden Rule of Evangelism is: Think about what information and evidence your non-christian friend would have to give you to persuade you to leave Christianity and convert to their religion or worldview. Then, work backwards.

19 Golden Rule of Evangelism Now work backwards. In order to effectively communicate the Gospel to my friend I need to tell/show them that :

21 Golden Rule of Evangelism Judaism (Jewish Religion) The Old Testament (Hebrew Bible) prophecies point to Jesus as the Messiah. The New Testament Accounts of Jesus are historically accurate. Jesus claimed to be God-Man and the Messiah and confirmed it by resurrection. Law vs. Grace. My Testimony/Testimony of Messianic Jews.

For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
