Thank you to everyone who contributed generously to the church funds in However in order to meet our 2018 budget target we will require a further increase. As you consider your regular giving for 2018 you can help by: Increasing your regular givings to church funds either by standing order or weekly envelope. Please let us know your amount of standing order increase so that we can update our records. 3 NEWS, EVENTS & NOTICES CARNMONEY.ORG SUNDAY SCHOOL FUNDRAISER UPDATE The children and teachers of the P5-P7 Sunday School are pleased to announce that the total money raised for Stand By Me, through our Money Barns project has now increased to Well done to all the children who were involved and thank you to the members of the congregation for their generous donations. This money will be used to pay for school meals and treats for children in Ethiopia. PRAYER ROOM We re continuing to pray between 9.00am and 9.00pm every Saturday in the Prayer Room of our Church Centre. The sign up sheet is available in the porch of church or you can request a one hour slot by contacting Michael Wylie. MEETING OF KIRK SESSION Please note that the meeting of Kirk Session due to be held on Tuesday 24 April has been changed to Tuesday 8 May at 7.00pm. NOTICEBOARD There is now a notice board in the halls complex to advertise upcoming events. if you would like to display something can you please give this to Gillian before putting it on the board. Thank you. PW Would the ladies who are going to the PW outing on Saturday 28 April meet in the Church car park at 2.15pm. The bus will leave at 2.30pm sharp. TOTS & CO Tots & Co meet every Wednesday from10.30am - 12 noon in the Large Sports Hall. CHAT N PLAY Wednesday in the Meeting Room from 9.30am. This week we will be making a mug-warmer for our Chat n Play mugs - ladies please bring a sewing needle. So come along and enjoy the craic and fellowship. Also please confirm whether you intend going on our trip on Wednesday 2 May. All ladies welcome.

4 NEWS, EVENTS & NOTICES NEW TO CARNMONEY? If you re new to Carnmoney Church and would like to get to know us a little better, we d love to meet you. On Sunday 27 May at 10.30am we ll serve tea, coffee and baked goods in the coffee bar and offer you the chance to meet the leaders and ask any questions you may have. For those attending 6.30pm worship we ll provide pizza in the coffee bar after the service. Please contact Michael Wylie or John Dickinson if you re interested in coming along. MANNA Manna is looking for volunteers to help in the shop. Can you spare a few hours on a Monday, Tuesday or Saturday? If so please contact Sharon Bell on MANIC MOUNT OBER Manic are doing a Footgolf event at Mount Ober golf Centre on Friday 4 May at 6.30pm. For more information contact Andy Hair or Andrew McCandless MUMS AND LITTLE ONES An informal and relaxed bible study group for Mums who have children of primary school age or younger will be starting up again on the following dates: Tuesdays from 10.00am-11.30am in the church halls. 1 May / 15 May / 29 May / 5 June / 19 June Bring your pre-school kids with you. Then look no further.. CAP JOB CLUB is an 8 week course designed to improve your job prospects. The next course starts : THURSDAY 26 APRIL FROM 10AM 1PM (coffee and light lunch included) in the Youth Centre of Carnmoney Church Complex. Turn up on the day, there s no need to register beforehand. You might not need Job Club but you could: Tell others you know who are job seekers, e.g. friends or family. If you work in a place where job seekers go you could advertise Job Club. Please take some of our promotional literature which is available on desks in the vestibule of the church and reception area of the halls complex.
