2 God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit As you see, it s not one or the other, but a trinity Our Savior, yes, He saves us all Even him, her, you and me He fills us with love, peace and joy And all of this-from a Nazarene boy But let us not forget That Jesus paid a hefty price Sacrificing Himself to give us new life He endured pain, struggles, and all kinds of strife ANN S POEM

3 But when the deed was done It was very clear Why Jesus had that cross to bear Day turned into night But then, what a glorious sight An angel appeared and rejoiced-he s alive and well, so run and tell the twelve and let it be known Jesus has risen, just like He said And you ll see him just up ahead ANN S POEM

14 THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF EASTER But There s Still More: Part 3 Jesus Prevailed Over Our Sins Rose Again Meaning... Not Resuscitation But Resurrection Jesus is Alive! Verse 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures

15 THE ABSENCE OF EASTER 12 Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen. 14 And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty. 15 Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up if in fact the dead do not rise.

16 THE ABSENCE OF EASTER 16 For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. 17 And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! 18 Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. 19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable.

20 IF JESUS WAS NOT RAISED... Still In Our Sins v17 17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. The Dead Are Gone v Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. 19 If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.
