He has been on the faculty since A native of Wichita, Dr. Kettler received his B.A. from Friends University and the degrees M.A., M.Div., and Ph.D. in Systematic Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. He is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA), on the preaching team at the Church of Savior in Wichita, Kansas, the author of The Vicarious Humanity and the Reality of Salvation (University Press of America, 1991), The God Who Believes: Faith, Doubt, and the Vicarious Humanity of Christ (Cascade Books, 2005), The God Who Rejoices: Joy, Despair, and the Vicarious Humanity of Christ (Cascade Books, 2010), Reading Ray S. Anderson: Theology as Ministry, Ministry as Theology (Pickwick Publications, 2010), and co-editor (with Todd H.
