I want to invite you to read about the Wesleyan Covenant Association and the stand being taken to preserve our disciplinary rules in matters of personal as well as social morality. 2 It's my favorite time of year - VBS!!! This year we are going to be "Shipwrecked" and we will be Rescued by Jesus. Please be prepared to have an awesome experience. Our church family have really stepped up. We have some fantastic volunteers! June from 6:30-8:30 June 28 at 6:00 you are invited to the annual - "All Church VBS Hotdog Cookout" You can hang around and see just what goes on at VBS. Starting June 10th we will be starting Kids' Bible Study and Choir it is taking the place of Sunday School from 9:30 to 10:20. We will have a Bible Study time, with Mrs. Sandy, followed by Mrs. Juliana teaching music and practicing for the Children's Special Music (with her you know there will be even more surprises). Studying the Word of God will prepare our children to make the most important decision of their lives following Jesus Christ. Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it - Proverbs 22:6. 3 May the peoples praise you, O God; may all the peoples praise you. - Psalm 67:5 (NIV) First of all, we are so excited to announce that we are going to have Kid's Choir right after Kid's Bible Study in the JAM Room from Sunday June 10, The Kid's Bible Study will be in the JAM Room at 9: 30 a.m. followed by Kid's Choir. In addition to learning to sing as a group, the kids will learn music theory, solfège, rhythm with instruments, dance, etc. Furthermore, as we prepare Shipwrecked VBS (June 25 28), our Children will learn 2018 VBS songs staring Sunday s in June. The Worship & Praise Service for June will be on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. We hope that you would join with us and bring your neighbors, friends, and family to the upcoming blended worship and see God s presence as we gather in the name of Jesus Christ. It features traditional hymns and contemporary songs such as I Know Who Holds Tomorrow, I Shall Not Be Moved, Worthy Is the Lamb, etc. Call for Disciples of Praise (A New Worship & Praise Singing Group and Ensemble) God has placed special gifts with each of us. If you would like to share your musical talents with us whether it is vocal or instrumental, you are more than welcome to our Chancel Choir and special music presentations. I would like to thank the choir members who faithfully participated with the Worship Bible Study since the beginning of this year. It was so much fun to discuss who created worship & music and how His people responded in worship from Genesis to contemporary times. May the peace of the Lord be with you!
