2 Then Jesus came to them and said, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:18-20

24 Reproducing Disciples Edward Kimball was concerned about one of his young Sunday School students who worked at a shoe store in town. One day he visited him at the store, found the student in the back stocking shoes, and led him to Christ then and there.

27 Reproducing Disciples Frederick B. Meyer Moody s testimony changed F.B. Meyer s entire ministry, inspiring him to become an evangelist like Moody.

28 Reproducing Disciples F. B. Meyer Over the years Meyer came to America several times to preach. Once in Northfield, Massachusetts, a confused young preacher heard him say If you are not willing to give up everything for Christ, are you willing to be made willing? That remark led a young man to respond to the call of God on his life.

29 Reproducing Disciples J. Wilbur Chapman That remark led him to respond to the call of God on his life. He became one of the most effective evangelist of his time. A volunteer helped him set up his crusades.

30 Reproducing Disciples That volunteer was Billy Sunday. He took over Chapman s ministry and became one of the most dynamic evangelists of the 20 th century.

31 Reproducing Disciples Inspired by a 1924 Billy Sunday crusade in Charlotte, North Carolina, a committee of Christians there dedicated themselves to reaching that city for Christ. The committee invited an evangelist to hold a series of evangelistic meetings in Charlotte, N.C. in 1932

32 Reproducing Disciples Mordecai Ham was the evangelist who came to Charlotte for the evangelistic meetings. A lanky teenager heard him shouting and waving a lone finger at him. The teenage came night after night.
