PRACTICAL STEPS Your Divine Destiny is highlighted in Romans 8:29: For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son (Christ). We are to conformed into the Image of Christ as partakers of His Divine Nature His Love and Light filling us and being exhibited through us. THE PATHWAY/ PROCESS This Predestined PATHWAY/ PROCESS was foreshadowed in the Tabernacle for Moses. The Gate Salvation Through Christ (John 10:9) We enter the Tabernacle through The Gate - the only way in = Symbolizing Salvation through Christ alone, by grace (John 14:6). Salvation is critical and glorious, however, getting saved and going to heaven is not the goal it s just the first step of the Journey as we are to follow Christ into the fullness of all God has for us! Through Salvation, God the Father has planted the SEED of His Son (Christ) in us He expects it to Grow into a Harvest that is the fullness of HIS SON in US. We are destined to mature into the the FULL MEASURE of the Christ. (1 Peter 1:23; Eph. 4:13) STAGE 1. OUTER COURT LIVING SACRIFICE AND CLEANSED Brazen Altar = Place of Sacrifice = dying to self / Take up Cross / Follow Him Basin of Water = Cleansed and washed with God s Word Mt 16: If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 25 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service [what you should do!] Laying down our lives as a Living Sacrifice and Sanctification/Cleansing then OPENS THE DOOR and Ushers us into the INNER COURT God s Chamber of Transformation and glory(psalm 24). STAGE 2. INNER COURT = GOD S TRANSFORMATION CHAMBER When we look inside the Inner Court we see 3 main items: Lamp stand with 7 lamps The Bread of His Presence Altar of Incense ALL are INTERTWINED in meaning representing His Word, His Light, His Spirit, His Presence, and Communion with Him. All these represent Christ His Image and Likeness!

2 Page! 2 of! 5 INNER COURT = God s Transformation Chamber - 3 Practical Steps: Reminder Note: The root word for being conformed to His image in our key text of Romans 8:29, is the Greek word metamorphoō. It is used only 4 times in the New Testament. The first 2 times were regarding Jesus transfiguration in Matt 17 & Mark 9. The other 2 times highlight the process of HOW to be conformed / transformed into His image! Both are keys parts of this message. We learned previously in Part 2 that the Image of Christ we are to be conformed to is His Divine Nature and Glory that are expressed in His LOVE and LIGHT! INNER COURT AREA THE LAMPSTAND = God s Word & Spirit Psalm 119:130, The entrance of your words gives light. Psalm 119:105, Your Word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. Eph. 1:17, Revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened STEP 1. Renewing Our Mind Brings Transformation TRANSFORMATION SCRIPTURE! Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. KEY NOTE: The word transformed is the same Greek word (metamorphoō) as Transfiguration in the Gospels about Jesus transformation into LIGHT! There is only one other place used in the New Testament, that will be revealed in step 3. Renewing our Mind to God s Word helps us know God and go deeper in Him. Renewing our Mind to God s Word is fundamental to watering the growing the SEED of Christ IN us and to the Conformation/Transformation process into Christ s image for HE IS the WORD (John 1:1). Renewing our Mind begins with Mediating in God s Word. That is a Whole Other Message. Homework - study Mediating in God s Word: Psalm 1 is a great starting place! INNER COURT AREA THE BREAD OF HIS PRESENCE = Fellowship, Communion, His Presence. STEP 2. In His Presence Brings Transformation In Biblical history when the LIVING GOD was ENCOUNTERED people they were TRANSFORMED! Moses was so transformed outwardly by God s Presence and glory he has to wear veil over His face. You cannot have an ENCOUNTER with the LIVING God and not be CHANGED! Like Isaiah who said WOE is me! I am undone! (Isa. 6:5) God s Presence emanates degrees of energy, power and light = His glory!

3 Page! 3 of! 5 Psalm 16:11 - You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. We are called to be be Carriers of His Glorious Presence! His Life, His Glory and His Light! God designed us for His presence to be conformed to HIS image (Romans 8:29). God made us for His glory to cover us and Shine upon and through us (Isa 60). He wants to fashion and conform you to His Image and Likeness (nature) for His manifest presence to Shine through us His Shekinah Today! And until we get filled with Him we will try to instead fill the emptiness inside substituting the things of heaven with things of the earth TV, food, movies, hobbies, sports, etc.. Sadly, too many are instead seeking His Hand and not His Face. SECRET: Want more of God s presence? Spend more time washing in the Word an Renewing Your Mind (See how Step 1 intertwines!) More time in the Word will always usher you into more of His presence Neglecting the Word will always result in distance, dullness, and dryness (the 3 Ds) JS There is a Call for the Saints to come in and be trained how to get into the Presence of the Lord and stay there long enough until the great Internal Transformation occurs. INNER COURT AREA ALTAR OF INCENSE = Prayer & Worship + Waiting upon the Lord. It was Right in front the Veil of the Most Holy Place where God s Glory dwelt over the Ark of the Covenant. STEP 3. Beholding Him Brings Transformation KEY NOTE: Here is the final time the same Greek word (metamorphoō) is used. The same word used for Transfiguration in the Gospels about Jesus transformation into LIGHT! TRANSFORMATION SCRIPTURE! 2 Cor 3:18 - But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. The Greek word BEHOLD here means To GAZE as in a a Mirror. Behold the Lord IN YOU see the reflection of yourself unto you see the Lord in you. It's an Act of Faith. Focusing on Jesus = begin changing into His likeness. Focus on seeing yourself being transformed into HIS image from glory to glory. Spiritual Truth: WHAT YOU FOCUS ON = YOU CONNECT WITH = IMPARTATION TAKES PLACE! The more I BEHOLD HIM = the more I am transformed into His image. The imagination Visualizing did not originate with New Age it s a Biblical Truth to be in God s Kingdom (like worship). Imagination involves the focus of the heart. It s why we must Set (focus) your affection on things above (Col 3:2). You will find that imagination is part of the language of the Spirit realm. This subject on our focus and

4 Page! 4 of! 5 imagination is also a whole other message. So for now know that what you Focus on long enough you will eventually Connect with and impartation will take place. Jesus also spoke of this in Matthew 6. Matt 6:22 - The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single (focused), thy whole body shall be full of light (lamp - a holder of the light). A couple keys truths regarding Beholding Him and being transformed into His Image. KEY 1: Your Clarity of Vision = Purity of Heart The Clarity of His image you can Behold in the mirror and the level of Glory that accompanies it is in direct proportion to the purity of your heart. Matt 5:8 - the Pure in Heart shall SEE God. It s WHY you must be guard your Gates Eye Gate, Ear Gate, Mind (Imagination) Gate what you watch, listen to, or think about ( TV shows, movies, internet, etc.). KEY 2: Seeking & Waiting On the Lord In our faced-paced world we live in today, waiting upon the Lord is a a lost art. Waiting upon the Lord is Key Secret of walking in higher levels with God. This also is a whole other message series will will do. Psalm 24 - Who shall ascend to the Hill (Place) of the Lord Clean hands and Pure heart Seek His Face the King of Glory shall come IN! So take time everyday to get into the Presence of the Lord to Behold/Gaze upon HIM. To FIX our EYES UPON HIM. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith (Heb. 12:2). See HIM IN YOU and then the IMAGE of HIS LIFE EXPRESSED THRU YOU! We need a Revelation and encounter with the LORD that ROCKS us for WITHIN. KEY STATEMENT: God s Transformation Chamber will Change you forever! ONE MORE THING THERE IS ANOTHER LEVEL! Beyond the Veil is the Most Holy Place the Holy of Holies The Ark of the Covenant = represents HIs manifest presence and His Throne Each Stage of the Tabernacle of Moses Represents 3 levels of Christian Living 1. Outer Court living living for self 2. Inner Court Going Deeper in God 3. Most Holy Place walking in the Fullness of Christ and all God has for you But, only ONE man (the High Priest) can enter the Most Holy Place. Q. Who is our High Priest? Answer: Christ Jesus is our High Priest (Hebrew 4;14)!

5 Page! 5 of! 5 If only ONE man (the High Priest) can enter the Most Holy Place where God s glory dwells, then... Only by becoming ONE with HIM can we hope to enter into the fullness of His glory and all He has for you to walk in! You must JOIN with Him lose your life and allow Him to CONFORM you into His Image (become ONE with HIM) or you ll never go in there the fullness of glory God has for you to walk in! This gives new meaning to JESUS PRAYER in John 17 That they all may be One; as You Father, are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be ONE IN US John 17:21 It s about becoming ONE with Him! We are to become Conformed Become ONE with God/Christ! THE SPONGE EXAMPLE Imagine a large basin of water as God s Transformation Chamber (The Inner Court). Put a sponge in the water and the sponge will begun soaking up the water until it s FILLED with the water. Yes, the Sponge is IN the water, but the water is now also IN the Sponge. And when you squeeze the Sponge water comes out. Likewise we are IN Christ but He is also wants to FILL us so when the pressures of life or situations come let Christ and His Nature, His Love and Light come flowing out of you! Let the Image of Christ Shine through! It s your Divine Destiny! SUMMARY Your #1 Calling is...to KNOW Him and be Conformed to HIS IMAGE. Transformation begins with Knowing God Going Deeper in God and His Presence Involves: STAGE 1: OUTER COURT Living Sacrifice Dying to Self Let Christ Fill you Sanctified/Cleansed by His Word STAGE 2: INNER COURT - GOD S TRANSFORMATION CHAMBER Renewing Our Minds with His Word In His Presence Word, Worship & Prayer Beholding Him being transformed from glory to glory Waiting upon the Lord = a Key Secret of Walking in higher levels with God STAGE 3: MOST HOLY PLACE - ONENESS WITH HIM Our Divine Destiny Conformed to HIS IMAGE His Love, Light & Glory Shining through us! Becoming His Bride and rule with Him in the ages to come. God s Transformation Chamber will Change you forever! There is one more special element to being conformed to the image of Christ, we that in PART 4
