2 1 Tim 6:17-19 Charge them that are rich in this present world, that they be not highminded, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; 18 that they do good, that they be rich in good works, that they be ready to distribute, willing to communicate; 19 laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on the life which is life indeed.

3 Fellow-workers with God Mark 16:20 And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them.. 3 John 8 We therefore ought to welcome such, that we may be fellowworkers for the truth.

4 By works we glorify God John 15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; and (so) shall ye be my disciples.. Matt 5:16 Even so let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

5 1 Peter 2:11-12 Beloved, I beseech you as sojourners and pilgrims, to abstain from fleshly lust, which war against the soul; 12 having your behavior seemly among the Gentiles; that, wherein they speak against you as evil-doers, they may by your good works, which they behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

6 Faith is made perfect by works James 2:21-22 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, in that he offered up Isaac his son upon the altar? 22 Thou seest that faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect;

7 By works we are justified James 2:24 Ye see that by works a man is justified, and not only by faith.. Matt 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven.

8 By works our faith is seen James 2:18 Yea, a man will say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith apart from thy works, and I by my works will show thee my faith.. Mark 2:5 And Jesus seeing their faith saith unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins are forgiven.arise, and take up they bed and walk.

9 By our works we shall be judged Rev 14:13 Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth: yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; for their works follow with them.

10 Eccl 12:13 This is the end of the matter; all hath been heard: fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man. 14 For God will bring every work into judgment, with every hidden thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

11 Rev 20:12-13 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne; and books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works.and they were judged every man according to their works.

12 2 Cor 5:10 For we must all be made manifest before the judgment-seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things (done) in the body, according to what he hath done, whether (it be) good or bad.

13 Works God wants us to do Preach the gospel 1 Thess 1:3-8 Remembering without ceasing your work of faith and labor of love and patience of hope 8 For from you hath sounded forth the word of the Lord, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but in every place your faith to God-ward is gone forth.

14 Comforting the faint-hearted 1 Thess 5:14 And we exhort you, brethren, admonish the disorderly, encourage the fainthearted, support the weak, be longsuffering toward all.. Gal 6:1Brethren, even if a man be overtaken in any trespass, ye who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

15 Helping the needy 1 Tim 5:9-10 Let none be enrolled as a widow under threescore years old, (having been) the wife of one man,10 well reported of for good works; if she hath brought up children, if she hath used hospitality to strangers, if she hath washed the saints' feet, if she hath relieved the afflicted, if she hath diligently followed every good work.

16 All of these good works should be done in the name of Jesus. Col 3:17 And whatsoever ye do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus.
