1 SAMPLE Youth Bible Drill- BLUE CYCLE - ESV, KJV, CSB Notes to Drill Conductor 1. In this printed drill, your words are in BLUE. 2. The ESV verses are in BLACK. The KJV verses are in BLUE. The CSB verses are in MARROON. 3. I highly recommend utilizing a sheet of paper folded in half to slide down the page to keep your place, but more importantly, as a surface to indicate tally marks as you call on the drill students to help you know how often you have called on a particular student. 4. Another consideration is to hole punch the pages of this drill. We have 5 different types of drills: BOOK DRILL SCRIPTURE SEARCHING DRILL IDENTIFYING VERSES DRILL DOCTRINAL DRILL BIBLE ANSWERS DRILL There will be 5 calls within each of the 5 drill sections. There will be 8 seconds for each call.

On the command START you will look for the book called and when you find it, place your index finger on the page and step forward. If you are called upon, you will give the name of the book preceding the one called, the book called, and the book following the one called. Joshua (Pause to give time for the students to think.) 4 SAMPLE Youth Bible Drill- BLUE CYCLE ESV, KJV, CSB This is the SCRIPTURE SEARCHING DRILL. There will be a total of five calls. I will announce a Scripture to be found and will give the command "START. A participant must locate the reference and place his index finger on the verse before stepping forward. When he is called upon, he reads the verse and states the exact reference. These references have been selected from the Bible at random. Numbers 32:23 (Pause) ESV Answer: But if you will not do so, behold, you have sinned against the LORD, and be sure your sin will find you out. I will state a phrase of the scripture in the English Standard translation, followed by the KJV and CSB translations. It may be any part of an assigned verse: the opening, the closing or the middle part. The participant must correctly locate the verse and place his index finger on the verse before he steps forward. When called upon he must be able to read the entire verse and state the correct Scripture reference. The participant must correctly locate the verse and place his index finger on the verse before he steps forward. When called upon he must be able to state the doctrine, read the verse, and state the correct Scripture reference. Before stepping forward the participant must correctly locate the verse listed that answers that question. When time is called I will instruct you to close your Bibles. When called upon the participant must be able to quote the question, recite the correct verse, and state the correct Scripture reference. What does God say about holiness? (Pause) Close Bibles.
