2 WELCOME Westminster Presbyterian Church is a covenant family of believers called by God to fulfill His purposes here in Laurel, and as a staging ground for worldwide kingdom growth where we seek to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ to fill the earth with disciples, subdue it redemptively for God s glory, and worship Him joyfully. We are being redeemed and equipped by the Spirit to build up one another until the Lord returns.

Please forgive us for our self-absorption, our lack of love, and our disobedience. We are deeply sorry. 9 ANNOUNCEMENTS New Adult Choir Rehearsal Time! The adult choir had its first rehearsal of the fall this past Wednesday at 7:00 PM and it was a great success. With new and returning members, we had a wonderful time together plus we gave out our practice CDs for our Christmas presentation. Have I mentioned lately that now is the perfect time to join the choir? Join us Wednesdays at 7:00 PM following all of the fun Wednesday night activities. Use your gifts! You won t regret it. New Members Class will meet every Wednesday at 6:15 PM. This is a four week class for anyone who has recently joined or is interested in joining the Westminster family. Sunday School Teacher needed: Our regular Sunday School Classes are a huge blessing to our families and Children s Ministry. We are looking for a Sunday School teacher for our 1st-3rd Grade Group. Great Commission has put out a wonderful curriculum that is both well prepared and well received. If you are at all interested, please contact Kristen. Ladies Bible Study will begin meeting on Tuesday, September 4th at 9:30 AM in Room 7. This class will be taught by Mrs. Barbara Holt and will meet every Tuesday. We will be studying the book of James. Evening Circle will gather for its first meeting of the season September 6pm, in the Fellowship Room. Nursery will be provided. We will enjoy a meal together, laughter, fellowship, and time in the Word. New faces are always welcome and greeted with great delight. No matter your age or status, fellowship is always a blessing.
