Partnering with St. Benedict means that you support all of our outreach whetherit be education or human concerns, catechesis or parish life. HOW YOU CAN HELP? Throughout 2018, we will be honoring and celebrating this mission at our annual fundraisers: Gala 2018 (aka Ball & Auction), BenFest, and the Fun Run. Over 6,000 people attend these events including parishioners, school parents, and community members. This year we are providing an opportunity for you or your company to secure an annual sponsorship that includes recognition throughout the year at all three fundraising events. Our packages include benefits that have the potential to generate a significant amount of visibility for your company with over 2 million impressions, hits, and views over the upcoming year. 3 St. Benedict COMBINED SPONSORSHIP FOR OUR THREE MAIN 2018 FUNDRAISERS: GALA 2018 I MARCH 3, 2018 Our Gala 2018, formerly known as the Ball and Auction, has become an annual spring celebration of all that is good in our parish school. Each year, school parents, parishioners, alumni, family members, friends and community guests display a tremendous sense of generosity, as the proceeds of this event, our largest fundraiser, support an exceptional school program. This year s Gala will be held at Morgan Mfg. in the West Loop. BENFEST I JULY 20-JULY 22, 2018 BenFest is the oldest summer fest on the north side of Chicago, featuring the hottest music and fun for every age. Held in mid-july, singles, couples and families come out to enjoy activities for adults and kids, well-known musical acts, and great food, beer and refreshments to cool you off on a warm summer s day. Chicago s best family-friendly summer festival (Chicago Tribune) FUN RUN I SEPTEMBER 2018 This September school Fun Run fundraiser incorporates fitness, leadership, and character development. Our 3rd Annual Fun Run was a record-shattering success! These funds are used for classroom and technological enhancements throughout the school, and a contribution to the Build Our Future building fund. TARGETED SPONSORSHIP TRAFFIC: - Total Attendance for the three events: 6,000 - Websites for 1 year: 25,000 - Steward weekly newsletter for 1 year: 12,000 - Outside of the gym banner for full year: 20,000 - LED marquee sign traffic (including Cubs game days) for 1 month (June/July): 200,000 - Ad campaigns including posters and postcards: 1,132,238 - TOTAL potential impressions/hits/views: 1,489,238

Our century-old church is the foundation of our parish. Upon this foundation rest our school and an abundance of dynamic ministries. Our five commissions seek to build up our community: The SPIRITUAL LIFE COMMISSION is comprised of all the ministries that help to plan and ensure the participation of the laity at all our gatherings for prayer and worship focusing on making our Sunday liturgy an exceptional weekly encounter with Christ and His Church. The HUMAN CONCERNS COMMISSION represents our outreach to a wide variety of people in the Chicago area struggling to survive at the margins of our society. We minister to those among us with spiritual, physical, social and economic needs, and to those experiencing lack and loss. We are Christianity in action. Your partnership supports the work of the parish which includes: - Providing lunch for the homeless on a daily basis - Providing a monthly food collection to the Common Pantry - Thanksgiving, Christmas & Easter dinners for several hundred in the community who might otherwise be alone at the holidays - Annual Advent Food Drive which allows the St. Vincent de Paul Society to deliver baskets of food to provide a full Christmas dinner and more to 37 families The St Benedict PARISH LIFE COMMISSION is the collection of ministries that allow us to celebrate with the community and continue to support a fun, family-friendly neighborhood.
