1 Personal Mission Statement Be new! What a mission statement is: A personal mission statement is a concise statement that expresses my unique contribution to this world! What a mission statement does: A personal mission statement acts as a governing constitution by which I evaluate decisions and choose behaviors. Psalm 90:12 says, Teach us to number our days, that we may present to Thee a heart of wisdom. A mission statement becomes a resource: To enhance times of prayer. To assist in planning and prioritizing a weekly schedule. To review when making important decisions. To include with school or employment applications to give people a sense of the real you. To share with friends so that they can pray for you more personally. To focus and steward your energy.

2 Attitude: To do the will of the Father What do you think Jesus Christ s mission statement might have been? Luke 19:10 The son of man has come to seek and to save that which was lost. What about the Apostle Paul? Acts 26:18 To preach the good news to Jews and the Gentiles. List below three POSITIVE adjectives that describe you Do you know your spiritual gift(s)? If so, please list: Put yourself wholeheartedly into something and energy grows. It seems inexhaustible.
