Director: Bob Glover SPREADING THE LIGHT Darkness can t stop the Light! Despite everything bad going on in our world right now, the LIGHT of God still shines through! Biblical predictions about the return of Christ are all now being fulfilled in our generation. One prophecy seldom recognized relates to the restoration of the Tabernacle (Amos 9:11 & Isaiah 2:2). Different from the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem, the last days Tabernacle verses have been for the most part ignored, or not taken literally by most theologians. However, all Christian theologians agree that the King of kings is coming back soon! This is the final season of the great end time harvest. We all can be a part of this last soul-winning harvest, if we are willing. We all are uniquely gifted and called by God to do good works for His glory. We each have a God-given destiny to fulfill, as a valuable part of the Body of Christ. Pray and obey, that is the key! Thousands of souls have now been touched by God because of your gifts! Your faithful prayers and support have accomplished much since our last FIRE ON THE MOUNTAIN newsletter, which was published in November of And yes, TCKF is still building the 24.5 acre garden park on faith in God, without debt! Thirteen years ago, Dr. Mahesh Chavda first called Max and Sherry Greiner, through a public prophecy given on December 9, 2001 at Cathedral of Praise in Austin, TX, to be involved in the restoration of the Tabernacle. A new dedicated team of Trustees was elected in May of 2014 to guide TCKF into the future. These Trustees have been joined by a small army of volunteers, affectionately known as the TCKF Volunteer Fire Department. We thank all of these faithful volunteers, who are serving Jesus Christ through this evangelistic organization. The dream finally becomes reality at the top of the 1,930 hill, in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, over looking IH-10. After 13 years, Max Greiner s original vision takes shape. The 300 cross-shaped garden was poured in concrete in the spring of 2014, after which the stained concrete slab was surrounded by 1,200 lb. genuine limestone Prayer Benches. Next, 77 key Bible verses, in Spanish, English and German were placed in the slab using 16 ceramic tiles. This Pathway To Heaven leads to The Empty Cross made of Cor-ten steel, which is believed to be the most symbolic cross sculpture in the world. The new 300 seat circular amphitheater was built facing the 77 7 massive cross to host Sanctioned and Sponsored events. (Photo by Russell Wilde) 1

2 CONSTRUCTION TCKF has accomplished much in the last ten months related to construction. Thanks to a $125,000 grant last year from the Peterson Foundation, TCKF was able to build the 300 cross-shape, central garden out of concrete, at the top of the 1,930 hill overlooking IH-10. Joe Ed Jenschke and his company, Edmund Jenschke Inc. completed this work in time for Easter ,724 guests visited the garden over the holiday. Jenschke, who is a follower of Christ, did an excellent job, and even donated other construction work needed to help complete the vision! At the same time, Rick Martin, owner of Martin s Landscaping in Kerrville built our new amphitheater and beautiful limestone walls. Martin is a strong Christian and faithful donor who also helped build the Prayer Path that surrounds the Crossshaped garden. PATH TO HEAVEN A major milestone was reached in September 2014 when the 77 Scripture Tiles were installed in three languages (Spanish, English, German) in the 300 crossshaped garden. Since the founding of TCKF on May 6, 2004, garden visionary and evangelist, Max Greiner Jr. collected evangelistic Bible verses to be used in the Path To Heaven. Once the funds were finally raised to install the 231, 16 ceramic tiles, TCKF asked Bible scholar and friend of the foundation, Dr. Robby Carpenter, DDS, to recommend the final selection and order of the 77 key Bible verses. Dr. Carpenter and the Trustees did an excellent job selecting the final verses for the path. 41 evangelistic scriptures lead up to The Empty Cross, and 36 discipleship scriptures are presented to visitors as they leave the cross. A new version of the 77 verses was created by TCKF so people who have never read the Bible can understand. For example, when pronouns for God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are used, their names are put in parenthesis on the tiles. 2

3 Displayed inside the 7 wide center space of the massive cross, four 3 x 5 Prayer Plaques are presented for pilgrims to read and pray. These four plaques on Salvation, Empowerment, Healing and Miracles were written by Christian evangelist, Max Greiner, Jr. They encapsulate the essence of the Gospel and call for a decision. It is here inside the 77 7, blood-colored Cor-tin steel cross, where most people give their hearts to Jesus and experience the power of God. Mr. & Mrs. Guadalupe Cardona of Eagle Pass, TX wrote: On August 25, 2014, my husband and I, plus other family members visited The Empty Cross Prayer Garden for the first time. It was a wonderful experience and we felt a wonderful and beautiful peace there on the mountain. As we left my family noticed that I had golden glitter on my clothes. I know now I was blessed by God s presence, and I m very fortunate person. Thank you for this beautiful prayer garden. To bring the 77 Scripture Tiles into existence in the cross-shaped garden pathway, the 16 ceramic tiles had to be made. TCKF supporter, Ryan Huff designed the visual appearance of each tile, and secured accurate language translations in Spanish and German. Jose D. Mendoza then prepared the tiles for sandblasting. TCKF donor and volunteer, Randy Choat, a former Trustee and owner of Choat Painting & Sandblasting, sandblasted the 231, 16 ceramic tiles at his cost. Randy is also the man whose company donated the sandblasting on The Empty Cross in Finally, God used Christian tile setter, Danny Mooney, owner of Danny s Tile Service in Kerrville to set the 231 Scripture Tiles and 6,776, 2 border tiles in the stained concrete, 300 cross-shaped garden. A new level of anointing was released at the garden when the scriptural Path To Heaven was installed. Nowhere else on the planet is the entire Gospel of Jesus Christ presented with 77 Bible verses, from the Old and New Testaments, in a 300 cross-shaped garden, filled with Christ-honoring monumental sculptures! This scriptural Path To Heaven leads to The Empty Cross, the most symbolic cross in the world! 4 THE GARDEN EXPANDS! God increased the size of His garden at the end of On 11/20/13, TCKF founder, Max Greiner, Jr. went out to the garden to refill the evangelistic supplies given out free to garden visitors. As he opened the lock on the storage shed, God s still small voice said to Max: LOOK THROUGH THE HOLE IN THE FENCE. So, Greiner stopped and looked around for a hole in the 8 tall solid fence, which borders Mesa Vista Ln. to the north of the garden. To his amazement, a brand new For Sale sign was right in front of the hole, on the 1.5 acre adjoining vacant lot next to the garden. Since 2005 garden supporters have prayed for God to give TCKF this critical property, since it was only 48 from the giant cross. However, the raw land was owned by the founders of the anti-christian Universalist church in Kerrville, who were vehemently opposed to the Christian garden and cross. The Holy Spirit spoke again to Max and said to move quickly because He was giving TCKF this important piece of land! Greiner prayed and then immediately contacted the Officers of TCKF. The next day God told Max to again look through the hole in the fence. When he did, Greiner discovered that the new FOR SALE sign had mysteriously disappeared, stolen by someone, according to the real estate agency. The new sign was visible for less than 24 hours! After prayer by the Officers, TCKF Treasurer, Carol Coates offered to purchase and donate the valuable land to the foundation. To Carol s amazement, her unbelieving husband offered to pay the full price of the land! (Bill would later surrender his life to Christ shortly before his death.) An offer was quickly submitted by the Coates to the heirs of the land. Real estate agent and TCKF donor, Doug Evans submitted a $10,000 offer, which was immediately accepted. However, within hours of the contract being signed, the neighbors on Mesa Vista Ln. offered $7,000 more for the small piece of land to keep TCKF from owning it. These were the same people who from 2008 to 2010 sued TCKF to stop the 77 7 cross from being erected in the garden. However, the neighbors failed in this effort. Even though the FOR SALE sign was stolen, they never expected God would tell Max, LOOK THROUGH THE HOLE IN THE FENCE. Thanks to this Word of Wisdom (1 Cor 12) and the Coates family, TCKF now owns the valuable 1.5 acres of land! On 11/20/2013 at 1:55 pm, God spoke to TCKF Founder, Max Greiner Jr., and said, LOOK THROUGH THE HOLE IN THE FENCE. A brand new FOR SALE sign was on the other side of the hole! Foundation supporters Carol and Bill Coates purchased the strategic 1.5 acres for the garden. Trustees and friends had prayed God would provide this vancant lot since In September of 2014, a beautiful solid rock wall was built to ensure the privacy of the neighbors who live north of the garden. FINALLY A REAL OFFICE! In 2014, TCKF was blessed with its first real office in the CTEN Building, which was donated by Jack Rothenflue and Rick Malm, leaders of Commission To Every Nation. CTEN is a wonderful, international missionary sending organization based in Kerrville. This Hill Country ministry touches the world for Christ. Jack was one of the original seven founding Trustees, who helped set TCKF on the right course. At the end of this year, TCKF hopes to have its own temporary office, on site near the garden entrance on Benson Dr. facing IH-10. Donations and prayers are appreciated! In 2014, God blessed TCKF with two wonderful Adminstrators, Nancy Redhead and Debbie McCalley. They have done a great job handling the workload that has been generated, due to the success of the Sculpture Prayer Garden evangelistic vision. 4

5 GOD PROVIDES FREE PUBLICITY! God is great at generating publicity. Consider Moses, David and Jesus. The Holy Spirit has promoted His garden for years, without cost to TCKF. God has used good and bad events to bring attention to His cross, His garden and His Son. As a result, the unfinished 24.5 acre garden is now Kerrville s top year-round, daily tourist attraction. This assessment is based on actually daily attendance numbers and local, national and international media coverage. Today the spiritual park draws thousands of visitors every week, from all 50 states and at least 37 countries, as of this date. The top tourism travel website in the USA Trip Advisor consistently rates the garden as one of the top area tourism attractions. The only reason it doesn t maintain the #1 position is because atheists, witches and Satanists and other opponents of cross repeatedly post terrible reviews! However, this proves God is on the mountain, and the devil doesn t like it! In the past ten months, free publicity for The Coming King Sculpture Prayer Garden and Jesus Christ has been featured in all kinds of media. Donna Hatch with the Kerrville Daily Times and Zeke MCormack of the San Antonio Express News wrote informative stories about the spiritual garden park construction and how it is drawing guests from around the world. Numerous magazine articles have featured the Kerrville garden, including those donated by Monica Smith, owner of Hill Country Happenings magazine. In the past, the secular TV network affiliates of ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX and the Christian networks of TBN, Daystar and CTN did stories on the battle to stop the cross and the supernatural miracles occurring at the garden. Recently, Time Warner Cable TV News did a story for the first time that featured images of the 300 cross-shaped garden, as viewed from the air. Accounts of supernatural miracles at the Christian garden have been repeatedly featured on the internet, including blog essays, Face Book posts and on many websites. In June, millions of people around the world saw the two online articles in Breaking Christian News and Charisma Magazine. The Kerrville garden has also been repeatedly featured on numerous secular and Christian radio stations. On 8/30/14, garden supporter and radio personality, Roy Holley did the first LIVE radio show from The Empty Cross, which was heard across Texas on San Antonio s KKYX Talk About Texas. The Light of Christ is shining bright from a 1,930 hill in the Texas Hill Country! On 8/31/14, San Antonio Express News reporter, Zeke McCormack wrote another story on the Coming King Sculpture Prayer Garden about the ongoing construction. Charisma Magazine online published a great article on the supernatural occurances at the garden by Mark Andrews on 6/26/14, which went around the world. Donna Hatch, reporter with the Kerrville Daily Times has covered the unfolding story of The Sculpture Prayer Garden for Texas Hill Country residents. 5 San Antonio KKYX 680 radio personality Roy Holley broadcasted his show: Talk About Texas (Live) from the cross on 8/30/14. Roy s show reaches a large part of Texas.

6 FRESH FRUIT! Genuine, Biblical type miracles are happening everyday at THE COMING KING SCULPTURE PRAYER GARDEN in Kerrville, TX. Documented miracles have been occurring on the sacred ground for many years. However, there has been a dramatic increase of supernatural manifestations from God due to the recent increase of visitors from around the world. These miracles, signs and wonders are not fake, or psychological. Most can be tested, verified, documented and photographed. Bottom Line: The special effects occurring at this tourist attraction are real, and they are happening in the name of Jesus Christ! Jesus explained in John 15 of the Bible, that His children are to bear much good fruit in their lives. He also said to judge the tree by its fruit. In John 14:11, Jesus stated that people should believe who He is based on the miracles. God is either a miracle worker, or He is not. A miracle is either real or it is not. If Jesus ever worked miracles, He still does, because He is the same forever (Heb 13:8). The facts speak for themselves. This is a problem for some people! TCKF Tour Guide Chaplains, Tom and Mary Pucci prayed with a family from Boerne and Kerrville on 7/29/14 at the cross. The Holy Spirit instantly sprinkled everyone with the sparkling Shekinah Glory of God (Ex. 34:29) to their amazement. Students of the Bible and human history know that there are times and places where God manifests His presence in dramatic ways. So it is with THE COMING KING SCULPTURE PRAYER GARDEN in Kerrville, TX. God is pouring out His Spirit on all flesh at the unfinished, non-denominational, Christian garden Tabernacle in the Texas Hill Country. It is no accident that God located this garden at the same latitude as Israel, approximately halfway between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, on IH-10. There is something special about this piece of property, which looks like the holy land. Thousands of genuine miracles are happening at the free, spiritual garden, which is open 365 days a year. Frequently the miracles happen when no TCKF Trustees or Tour Guide Chaplains are present. The Holy Spirit of God is simply using sculpture, scripture, four Prayer Plaques and a giant 77 7 cross to touch the lives of thousands of visitors. God is doing these things, not TCKF! Garden friend and donor, Hershel Reid of Dallas, TX believes that God brings people to Himself easier at this garden in Kerrville, than any place else in the world. He may be right! Doyle and Cheryl Grundy hosted a group of Christian ladies from Corpus Christi at their ranch in Kerrville, where Jill and Michael O Brien led a retreat. During their time at the garden, on 5/18/2014, everyone was sprinkled with the supernatural Glory Dust. (Is. 60:11) Angel Poorman of Abilene, TX worships God at the foot of the 77 7 cross. On 9/7/14, Trish Ellis from Pipe Creek, TX. said her son, Dalton (18 years old) was still healed from Ankalosis Sponilois after being instantly healed by God of the debilitating genetic disease during the CSI Prayer Path construction event, held a year earlier at the cross on 10/12/13. 6

7 The garden is reaching people who have no interest or faith in God. These are people who won t enter a church; read the Bible, a Christian book, magazine or website blog; or listen to a Christian radio station or music, watch a Christian television show or movie; attend a Christian concert, Bible study, conference or crusade. The Holy Spirit is drawing thousands of people off the Interstate highway using curiosity and the monumental artwork. (REPORTED) FRUIT COUNT - (1/1/14 to 10/1/14) SALVATIONS HOLY SPIRIT BAPTISMS PHYSICAL HEALINGS EMOTIONAL HEALINGS SALVATION, EMPOWERMENT, HEALING & MIRACLES Most visitors to the garden experience God s presence. Thousands of people are having Born-Again experiences while reading the first (3 x 5 ) Prayer Plaque inside the 7 wide center space of The Empty Cross. The second Prayer Plaque introduces visitors to the nine Gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12), so the supernatural power gifts might be activated in their lives. The third Prayer Plaque is for those seeking physical and psychological healing. This plaque lays out the Biblical path to healing, which can include doctors. Hundreds of people report being supernaturally healed at the cross. As of this date, at least eleven people have canceled their suicide plans, after visiting the garden. The forth Prayer Plaque inside the cross deals with miracles, signs and wonders. Everyone on earth needs hope, peace and divine intervention from God. A Sonrise Easter Service was held at the garden on 4/20/14 which was attended by 312 people. The day before, 750 people attended a Resurrection Celebration which featured different pastors, evangelists missionaries, Christian bands, and worship teams from across Texas. During the four day holiday, 1,724 people visited the garden. IMPACT OF THE CROSS The spiritual fruit in this Hill Country garden is really good, according to thousands of visitors. Guests return numerous times, often with friends and family members. Arizona resident, Bobby Dendy spotted the giant cross from IH-10, after which he stayed 42 days praying and worshipping God at the cross! One lady, Irma Chavez has prayed at the foot of the symbolic cross every day since it was erected in July of Pastor Martti and Ann Falck came all the way from Finland to experience the power of the cross. The Empty Cross is a people magnet! TESTIMONIES FROM THE CROSS 320 people attended a Christian concert hosted by the AGLOW International Central Texas Conference on 5/2/2014. Angel Orbs (Ezk 1:15) were photographed and over 100 people witnessed a strange blue grey cloud hovering over the worshippers during the concert. 9/15/14 A Must See! We stopped here on our way out of town. It was a beautiful sight to see and very nice artwork and prayer garden. The view from the top is breathtaking to look down on the Texas Hill Country landscape. A lot of people comment on the lack of gardens, but it is the Hill Country and to me has the native landscape. I would recommend this a must see stop in Kerrville. 8 JIM MCKNIGHT: MAN OF PRAYER By Max Greiner Jr., TCKF President I don t have any friends like James McKnight (74). He is an American original. He looks, acts and sounds like the famous actor of many years ago, Jimmy Stewart. He is tall, thin, gentle, kind, thoughtful, dependable, trustworthy, determined and humble. I could go on. Some people underestimate Jim McKnight because he is a quite man of few words. However, the devil doesn t make that same mistake. Satan knows all about Jim. Jim McKnight is a Mountain Mover, a mighty Prayer Warrior in God s army! Jim graduated from Florida Southern College with a Bachelors of Science degree. He served our country for 20 years, 15 years as an officer in the Marine Corp. Jim served during the Viet Nam war years, and I know that he jumped out of perfectly good airplanes almost 100 times! Jim has been a warrior, in the natural, much of his life. Therefore, he understands the enemy. Today God uses Jim on the spiritual battlefield to frustrate the strategies of the enemy, Satan. Jim McKnight has served God as a TCKF volunteer since Today he serves as a Special Advisor to the President, Max Greiner, Jr. and as a Tour Guide Chaplain. The Holy Spirit gives Jim strategies that advance the Kingdom of God. Jim, who is prophetic, hears the still small voice of God frequently. He discerns the times we live in. He reminds me of the Indian guide in the old B&W western movies. Jim is the one who puts his ear to the railroad track and is able to tell everyone what time the train will arrive! Because he has good communication with his Comander In Chief, and is obedient even to death, the Holy Spirit uses Jim McKnight to encourage, train, equip, bless, heal and lead many to Salvation in Christ. After his military career, Jim became a volunteer for many good causes like the Red Cross, Salvation Army, the Lions Camp, Kerr County Juvenile Facility, Literacy Council, Kerr Country Animal Welfare, Hill Country Gideons, Good Samaritan Assistance, Healing Rooms, Guidepost Ministries and Impact Christian Fellowship, where he is a member today. Jim has taught a variety of classes at Impact and other places, primarily on evangelism. Jim s pastor, David Danielson said recently: Jim McKnight is a man of integrity and a man of prayer. Whatever the Lord lays on Jim s heart to do, Jim does it with all his heart. Jim is also a person who loves to serve in secret preferring to just get the job done without any accolades sought from it. After Jim s military career, he moved back to the Texas Hill Country and became a live stock producer for about 20 years. The Bible would call him a shepherd. However, Jim is more like the Apostle Paul in that he has never been married and shares the Gospel everywhere he goes! Regarding marriage, I once told Jim that he would be as hard to live with as the Apostle Paul! God is first in Jim s life; everything else is way behind. I first got to know Jim early in 2006, right after God gave TCKF the valuable land on IH-10. Jim approached me saying he believed the Sculpture Prayer Garden vision was from God and that he wanted to help bring it about. Jim brought his chain saw to clear brush that day. However, McKnight s contributions to TCKF have gone way beyond clearing brush as he became a faithful volunteer and donor. He was elected to the Board of Trustees in Every time something needed to be done, Jim did it, usually without being asked. In 2008, Jim was elected Vice President of TCKF and was invaluable to me during the lawsuit that lasted from 2008 to This lawsuit filed against TCKF by neighbors to the north, was intended to keep the cross from being erected in the garden. At the time, thousands of people were praying for Sherry and me. However, none provided more prayer cover, wisdom and Godly counsel than Jim. Today Jim serves TCKF as a Special Advisor to the President and as a Tour Guide Chaplain. When the new bronze sculptures were donated and placed at the garden in 2012, Jim formed the SCAP (Sculpture Care And Prayer) team to care for the sculptures, while using the opportunity to do stealth evangelism, when garden guests approached him. Jim McKnight is a member of the Holy Spirit Volunteer Fire Department. He starts fires in the hearts of people everywhere he goes! Known as a man of prayer, Jim McKnight is currently leading 42 days of prayer for our nation, prior to November elections. Visitors read 77 Bible verses in three languages on 16 Scripture Tiles as they stroll down a 300 cross-shaped garden, which leads to the most symbolic cross in the world, The Empty Cross. Inside the 7 wide space of the massive 77 7 Resurrection cross, guests can pray to be Born-again, empowered by the Holy Spirit, healed, delivered and blessed with God s miracles. Tens of thousands of people have already experienced the presence of God at the free, 24.5 acre park, located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, at the same latitude as Israel. They are coming from all 50 states and around the world. And, the garden is not even finished yet! The fruit of this garden is really good! Thousands of people have been Born-again and empowered by the Holy Spirit at the garden. Hundreds have been healed, psychologically and physically. As of this date, 11 suicides have been averted, to our knowledge. Thousands of people have experienced supernatural, documented miracles, including the sparkling Glory Dust. Some have seen and photographed angels on this Holy mountain. This evangelistic project is also unique because it is being built on faith in God, without debt. However, funds are still needed to complete this last days, non-denominational Christian Tabernacle, which is the proto-type for other soul-winning gardens to be built across the USA and world. The land and the art, worth millions of dollars, have been donated. However, landscaping, waterfalls, roads, parking lots, lights, restrooms and a Visitors Center are still needed!
