St. Matthew A tax collector for Rome; called to be 1 of 12 Disciples, St. Mark Young follower, is believed to have written as told by Peter; Peter was 1 of 12 Disciples St. Luke A medical doctor and companion of Apostle of Paul; Luke also recorded in Acts the events surrounding Jesus resurrection and the newly established church St. John The writer of Revelation, I, II, and III John; John was 1 of 12 Disciples
