I would recommend that if you have a child to be registered in the St. Kevin Catholic Academy, you might want to call the Academy ( , ext. #4) and register as soon as possible. Classes begin on Wednesday, September 5th. Regarding the Faith Formation Program (children attending public schools), registration is on-going! You can go the Parish website to download an application or you can call the Faith Formation Office ( , ext. #3), if you have any questions. Our goal is to have every child in our parish registered either in the Academy or in the Faith Formation Program. PLEASE help us to do this! Thank you! It was started by a group of business men who felt the need to attend Mass on the First Friday of each month, to honor the most Sacred Heart of Jesus. The members would attend Mass and then have lunch and invite a guest speaker. Please join us on Friday, October 5th, for Mass and lunch at Verdi s Restaurant in Whitestone. Bishop Chappetto will be the celebrant and guest speaker. If you are interested in joining the First Friday Club ($10 dues for the year), or would like additional information, please contact Marie at or Kay at St, Kevin Senior Club will have a trip to Empire City Casino on Wednesday, August 29th. This has prevented us from going as a parish team to be with the children and young adults of Mustard Seed Communities this year. But our prayers, for the children and the nation of Nicaragua, remain critical.
