We have just gone past the first half of the year 2015 and I am excited to share with you some of the exciting news and testimonies we have received from the field. I must say that this couldn t have been without your keen interest, prayer and support over the period, and so this is to the glory of God and to you, our dear partner. Among the great leaps that have marked the period, I am particularly excited that after 26 years of ministry, my own village, Adankrono, has opened up for the Bible listening program. I am happy that my natives are also going to benefit from the Audio Bible ministry that has blessed many towns and villages across Africa. I am most grateful to my staff for their thoughtfulness in establishing 14 Bible listening groups in my village, especially as this is their own initiative. Meanwhile 77 new Bible listening programs have been set up in new areas as our team seeks to extend evangelism efforts into uncharted areas. Our periodic monitoring of the listening groups already established has yielded some inspiring testimonies, some of which are shared in this report. I must commend the selfless sacrifice and commitment of our God s Word For All (WFA) team, who intensified their Supervision of the ongoing listening programs. Their initiative to stay in particular language groups for several days has proven to be effective and efficient. The recording teams have also made great strides by recording the Audio Bibles in eight new languages across Africa. Among them is the long awaited Komba New Testament recording in Ghana in partnership with Lutheran Bible Translators. The history behind this recording and the opportunity it offers for soul winning and discipleship in the Northern Region of Ghana is also here in this report. A lot more work is left to be done and I pray that the testimonies you read about in this report will inspire us all to dig deeper in prayer, support and partnership. Stay blessed.

3 When Theovision International birthed the vision for Tree of Life Clinic, one principal goal was to bring health change to residents of Nmai Dzorn, where the organization is situated, and its environs. Months after the opening of the Clinic, hypertension, one of Ghana s foremost silent killer diseases, is receiving a loud awareness in Nmai Dzorn. A free two day monthly hypertensive screening was commenced by the Clinic in March, 2015 and will run till the end of the year for the residents of the community. According to Mrs. Monica Asare, General Manager of the Clinic, the focus on Hypertension is because it is the commonest medical condition seen at the Clinic; two in every five clients seen. She traced the alarming rate of this menace to the sedentary lifestyle, alcoholism and bad eating habits of the people. Unfortunately because of a poor medical check up culture among many Ghanaians, the disease is hidden and it kills silently. Mrs. Asare also bemoans the lack of awareness of hypertension and its poor management by known hypertensives. She said, Only recently, I was gutted by a story about a man who was rushed to hospital but died shortly on arrival. His blood pressure was reported very high. Hopefully, we can reduce such drop dead incidences through early detection and proper management of the condition, which we have begun with this awareness campaign. The maiden edition in March, 2015 recorded 26 attendees out of 20 churches invited. Mrs. Asare says the low attendance was expected because of the peoples indifference to medical care, especially as they may feel well currently. Therefore, to reach more people, subsequent editions will be announced in every corner and on every street in Nmai Dzorn. About the future impact of this campaign, Mrs. Asare refers to an excerpt from the first edition. She says, Out of the 26 attendees, 10 were referred to the Doctor and one person was detained because of the severity of her condition. Should this person be counted as a life saved? Sadly, the answer lies with those who have died, silently, from Hypertension.

4 It was such great news for churches and missions organizations serving in the Northern Region of Ghana when the Komba New Testament translation was completed and dedicated in November, For many years, the Likpakpaaln translation of the Bible (a different dialect) was being used to great effect among Konkombas (Likpakpaaln) but to the disadvantage of a group of Konkombas called Likooni who spoke the Komba language. Praise God! Now the (Likooni s) Kombas can also access the Bible in their heart language. With the Translation of the Komba New Testament came the urgency to record Audio Bible in the language and Theovision has risen up to this demand because of the historic impact the organization made with Audio Bibles in the area over a decade ago. According to Rev. Winston Binabiba, a Konkomba, in 2004, the rate of Konkombas who could not read was between %. To disciple these large oral preference populace therefore, Theovision International and partner, Faith Comes By Hearing, used the Audio Bible in Likpakpaaln extensively by establishing Bible listening groups among the Konkonbas. During that time, thousands of non-readers heard God s Word in their own language and this led to the conversion of 5,706 people, planting of 240 churches and the sale of 2,878 printed Bibles within four years. Through a collaborative effort of The Bible Society of Ghana, OneWay Ministries, Theovision International and Lutheran Bible Translators, the much expected recording of the Komba New Testament has been completed with sound technicians from Theovision working with 30 Komba readers in Gbintri in the Northern Region of Ghana. Lutheran Bible Translators, one of the major partners of this project, has published two whole Bibles (old and new) and 38 New Testaments. As at December 2014, Theovision had recorded the Audio Bibles in over 310 languages across 35 African countries. I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over a sinner who repents Luke 15:7 Theovision s God s Word for All (WFA) team has recently returned from a 10 day s outreach to Bator and Dove in the Volta Region of Ghana with amazing testimonies of changed lives. The outreach is part of the ministry s planned periodic visits into areas it serves with Bible listening programs; to encourage new believers in those missionary areas. Everywhere we went, people had already gathered, singing, dancing- waiting for us; waiting to hear the good news, said Ernest Apraku, a member of the WFA team. Many people were eager to share their testimonies of deliverance and change from alcoholism, family and tribal feuds, promiscuity, idolatry, fetishism, rage, hurt among others. They attributed their new life and hope in Jesus Christ to their weekly hearing of God s Word in their own language through the Bible listening program set up in their villages, emphasizing the need to deepen and spread soul winning efforts in these areas. While the new believers rejoiced and shared their joy freely, some of the people who were still doubtful of the gospel were enlightened and led to Christ after the WFA team addressed their baffling questions about who Jesus is. Laboring day and night, the team witnessed in one village after another and the Lord confirmed His Word with miracles, signs and wonders. Altogether, 55 new converts were added to the churches in the area to the glory of God.

Though the area is fast developing due to the settling of foreigners, there is still a strong allegiance to the ancient African traditional religion, and the pupils of Presbyterian JHS seem to be the hardest hit by this practice. Sadly, just at the entrance into the community, en route to the school, is a decorated shrine with idols celebrated and feared by most of the indigenes. The headmistress, madam Georgina, bemoans the effects of the idol practice on the school and pupils, some of whose parents are staunch followers of these idols. She said there have been several cases of witchcraft and evil attacks on the pupils and teachers. I think it is the reason why some of the pupils are lazy, dull and even become degenerates after they graduate from school. Praise God! The Word For All (WFA) and Children and Youth Ministry (CYM) of Theovision International have commissioned the Bible listening program in Presby JHS to the delight of the management, staff and the young future leaders. Today, the Audio Bible plays loudly in the school every Friday when the pupils gather for the usual worship and prayers. The headmistress, teachers and over 200 pupils participate in the weekly listening sessions and God s Word is lighting their path. The spill over to the rest of the indigenes of Oyarifa is surely in sight. To God be the glory.

Speaking at a short but impressive ceremony, organized by staff of Theovision to introduce the Bible listening program in Adankrono, Rev. Theo admonished his own people through God s Word saying, seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all the other things will be added unto you. This ceremony in Rev. Theo s hometown climaxed the first Founders Week celebrations which was observed from 9th to 13th of March, staff of Theovision joined the Chief, Elders and people of Adankrono on friday, 13th March, to initiate three special projects that will see 16 Bible listening groups set up in churches and communities in the town; a six room toilet facility built and a broken water system repaired and given a facelift. Explaining the purpose of these projects to the gathering, Mark Adu-Danso, a Manager at Theovision International said it was necessary to do something monumental in the village where the Founder was born and bred. He said, after all the work that Theovision has done in several villages in Ghana and across Africa, nothing substantive has been done in the Founders hometown. So the staff decided to bring the Bible listening program here. In doing so, we identified the people s need for a place of convenience and potable water and we have decided to raise the funds from among ourselves to provide these in honor of the President and Founder. Some exciting remarks from the Chief and some church leaders of the village as well as some staff of Theovision spiced up the afternoon s event. Benjamin Amoako, Theovision s missionary to the Eastern Region excited the gathering as he demonstrated the Bible listening session in 15 minutes, using the audience as his listening group members. The contributions from the audience was very encouraging and showed how these people are ready to receive God s Word. Madam Ema, a Presby church leader said, This program will be a blessing to our church. I think it will really make people understand God s Word and also attract the youth to Church. Before the ceremony closed, Rev. Theo Asare and Nana Osaberima Sarpong Kumankuma II, cut the sod for the construction of a six room toilet project for the people of Adankrono.

He was so intrigued to hear the Bible in his own language that, he volunteered to represent his idol worshipping village at the Bible listening group facilitators training. He just wanted an Audio Bible for himself. However, at the training, the WFA team shared God s message of salvation with all the trainees and a handful of them gave their lives to Christ, including William. A few months on, William has aggressively started the Bible listening program in his village. This village that used to reject Churches and all Christian activities, has now embraced the Bible listening program because God is using one of their own people. William says though he faces strong opposition from his father and some Elders in the village, already 15 people, including his wife, have left their idols and turned to Jesus. He has asked for a Church to be planted for them in their village. Praise the Lord! Above all, William, who used to be the lead singer for the village s fetish music group is now singing for the King of kings. He says Now instead of spending several hours singing to those worthless idols, I have time to work on my farm and take care of my family. Indeed, he who finds God s work, finds a good thing. Glory to God I tried to quit smoking many times but couldn t until now. I believe that through the listening of God s Word in my own language, I have been greatly helped. I am happy because I don t struggle with drinking and smoking anymore. Moreover, now I am able to save some money Emmanuel Asianyo- Bible Listening group leader I lost every sense of God and His Word when I sojourned in Israel for 20 years. Living in a Judaic community, I could not access any church or christian fellowship close by. Eventually the essence of Jesus death and resurrection had become a distant memory when I returned to Ghana about five years ago. The Introduction of the Audio Bible into our village has reminded me of my place in Jesus. I have asked Christ back into my life and my zeal for Him is back.
