Tozer - In most Christian churches the Holy Spirit is entirely overlooked, whether He is present or absent makes no real difference to anyone. Most all Christians have heard ABOUT the Holy Spirit. But, do you KNOW HIM? As a real divine person who can be KNOWN and LOVED and WORSHIPPED in an intimate relationship. The word know here means knowledge that comes from experience, not just the intellect (what you know). It is one thing to know about someone, but quite another to know them personally. A. The believer must become love-inspired, love-mastered and love-compelled. 2 Corinthians 5:14 If not, we are just a religions noise. 1 Corinthians 13:1 b) JOY Joy is the result of abiding in His Love. A Holy Spirit controlled man needs no law to cause him to live a righteous life. The secret of a Spirit controlled life is found in Romans 12:1-2.
