9 This earthquake in Ezekiel 38 will be the same earthquake that is described as a great earthquake in the breaking of the Sixth Seal in Revelation 6:12. 10 As Christians, we should recognize America may be judged before the rapture transpires, but it does not mean that there is no pre-tribulation rapture. The judgment of America and the timing of the rapture do not necessarily have any bearing on one another. So often, American Christians believe we will be sparred God s judgment on our nation. That is a fanciful understanding. Our nation deserves judgment more than most! (Of whom much is given, much is required). When the rapture occurs is timed based upon what God s plan for Israel is and what his time for the Church is not what his plan for America is! S.
