2 Dear Friend, Few would dispute the pace at which our world is changing. It seems as if every day is another jarring headline of terrorism, political unrest, and natural disaster. Many of us are wondering, Will the world ever be the same again? As the world continues to fracture, it is time to accept this new normal and understand how God s hand is still at work on His eternal plan for mankind. Instead of being afraid, it s time to Stand Up and take action, claiming all the physical and spiritual resources God has given us. Now, more than ever, we, as the Body of Christ, must claim God s truth in our lives and proclaim it to the world. As you join me for this live event, I look forward to providing practical ways for you and your community to face the challenges in our world today. This knowledge will give you confidence that the circumstances around us are not a surprise to God, as He has a greater plan for this world and eternity. 4 VOLUNTEERS Just as your home church needs volunteers to organize and operate your Sunday services, Turning Point needs volunteers to execute a successful event. We are looking for 150 people to help us on the evening of the event. Volunteers will still be able to participate in the night. In fact, they will have reserved seating! We need people willing to serve in the following areas: Greeters Welcome attendees, distribute materials, and scan tickets. Ushers Greet people in their sections and administer the offering. Resource Sales Help sell product before and after the event at resource tables. All volunteers need to arrive by 3:45 p.m. to give our volunteer coordinator an opportunity to explain specific roles before the doors open at 5:30 p.m. Note: Participants must be physically able to stand on their feet and walk throughout the arena.
