John 15:18 18 "If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you." Matthew 5: "Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." 2 Timothy 3: Now you followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, perseverance, 11 persecutions, and sufferings, such as happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium and at Lystra; what persecutions I endured, and out of them all the L-rd rescued me! 12 Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Messiah Yeshua will be persecuted. 2

3 1 Peter 4:12-16,19 12 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you; 13 but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Messiah, keep on rejoicing, so that also at the revelation of His glory you may rejoice with exultation. 14 If you are reviled for the name of Messiah, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of G-d rests on you. 1 Peter 4:12-16,19 15 Make sure that none of you suffers as a murderer, or thief, or evildoer, or a troublesome meddler; 16 but if anyone suffers as a believer, he is not to be ashamed, but is to glorify G-d in this name. 19 Therefore, those also who suffer according to the will of G-d shall entrust their souls to a faithful Creator in doing what is right. Daniel 7:9,13,14; 10:6 9 "I kept looking until thrones were set up, and the Ancient of Days took His seat; His vesture was like white snow and the hair of His head like pure wool His throne was ablaze with flames, its wheels were a burning fire. 13 "I kept looking in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven One like a Son of Man was coming, and He came up to the Ancient of Days and was presented before Him. Daniel 7:9,13,14; 10:6 14 "And to Him was given dominion, glory and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations and men of every language might serve Him, His dominion is an everlasting dominion which will not pass away; and His kingdom is one which will not be destroyed. 10:6 His body also was like beryl, his face had the appearance of lightning, his eyes were like flaming torches, his arms and feet like the gleam of polished bronze, and the sound of his words like the sound of a tumult. Revelation 1:16 16 In His right hand He held seven stars, and out of His mouth came a sharp twoedged sword; and His face was like the sun shining in its strength. III. Matthew 17:1,2,5,6 5 While he was still speaking, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and behold, a voice out of the cloud said, "This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased; listen to Him! 6 When the disciples heard this, they fell face down to the ground and were terrified. Job 42:5,6 5 "I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear; but now my eye sees You; 6 Therefore I retract, and I repent in dust and ashes." Isaiah 6:5 5 Then I said, "Woe is me, for I am ruined! Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the L-rd of hosts." Luke 1:12 12 Zacharias was troubled when he saw the angel, and fear gripped him. Luke 5:8 8 But when Simon Peter saw that, he fell down at Yeshua' feet, saying, "Go away from me L-rd, for I am a sinful man!" 7

Revelation 1:18a 18 and the living One; Micah 5:2 2 "But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, too little to be among the clans of Judah, from you One will go forth for Me to be ruler in Israel His goings forth are from long ago, from the days of eternity." Isaiah 9:6 6 For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty G-d, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. Revelation 1:18 18 and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades. 8

Revelation 1:20 20 "As for the mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: the seven stars are the angels of the seven congregations, and the seven lampstands are the seven congregations.
