2 Good Morning and Welcome! Prayer before worship: We thank you Lord, for the power of the Resurrection and the blessing that flows to all who believe: faith, hope, and love. Bless our worship and our fellowship in the Word and the reception of Christ in the Feast of our communion. In Jesus' name. Amen. This Week s Prayer List - remember these in prayer: We pray for a portion of Zion s family and friends Lorraine Dose; Jaclyn Dose; Jon, Kelly, Alison, Grace, Ava, and Sam Dose; Jared, Stacy, Emma, Kristen, Kellen Dose. We pray for those under the care of a physician, undergoing treatment and therapy; for all difficulties and the ability to meet obligations; for a strong faith to meet every need. Easter Breakfast: Feel free to join us following the SonRise Service for our annual Easter Breakfast hosted by the Evangelism Committee. Congratulations to our 2018 confirmands: Konrad Breeggemann, Evan Dietzel, Sophia Morschen, Brooke Sauter, Matthew Traver, and Cadee Vinkemeier. Voter s Meeting will be held Monday, April 16 th at 8:00 PM. All members are welcome and encouraged to attend this meeting. P Do you not know that all of us who are baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? C We were therefore buried with Him through Baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was risen from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. P If we have been united with Him in His death, C We will certainly also be united with Him in His resurrection. P For we know that our old self was crucified with Him, C So that the body of sin might be rendered powerless, that we should no longer be slaves to sin-because anyone who has died has been freed from sin. P Now if we died with Christ, C We believe that we will also live with Him. P For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again. C Death has no mastery over Him. P The death He died, he died once for all; C But the life He lives, He lives to God. P If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. C But if we confess our sin, God is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. P Do you confess that you have sinned and deserve only God s wrath and condemnation? C I do confess. P Do you sincerely believe that God, by grace, for Jesus sake, will forgive you all your sins? C I do believe.

5 P Do you promise that with the aid of the Holy Spirit you will amend your sinful life? C I do so promise. P Do you believe that the Word of Christ s forgiveness I speak to you is from the Lord Himself? C I do believe. P We have been buried with Christ through Baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of God the Father, we too may live a new life. As a called and ordained servant of the Word, I forgive you your sins in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. C Amen.
