Just bring your used Bibles to church. All versions welcome, even those that have been written in. You can also contribute money to buy Bibles. Every $3.50 enables the Prison Ministry to purchase a paperback Bible especially designed for the average inmate s reading skills. Please clearly designate your gift for Prison Ministry Bibles. Mission Trip to Tanzania This August, a group from Powhatan Community Church will be in the African nation of Tanzania on a two-week mission trip. Last year s mission was a transforming experience for those who went and opened many opportunities of service and friendship in both northern and southern Tanzania.
